Me and my corp like a little low sec piracy to get the thrill. Many of our corp Members are hunted down by the the same people over and over again. They build ganksquads, outnumber others by 8-10 and kill soloing ships in Aunenen. They always dock when we try to fight back, and they are all still in their noobcorp, which makes it impossible to wardec them and hunt them. They just kill one ship and then jump back to highsec.
What can we do about those freaks? Is there any way to get a fight thats at least half equal in number?

Bait them.
Put a pirate in a battleship with all nos in high slots, triple tank and resistance in lows and warp scramblers in mids.
wait on the other side of a gate
Blob attacks, begin nossing and repping like mad while you scram as many targets as possible.
Jump in, instantly gang warp to the bait ship and tackle as many targets as possible and BUTCHER.
Put the bait ship at a planet, and make it look like his looking for his target, no sentries.

Looks like you and your corp mates need to be a little more carefull... You shouldn't need to wardec someone to fight them in lowsec. They seem to be killing you without problems, and they havn't wardec'd you.

That's the problem. They dock as soon as a bigger blob hits lowsec. Maybe we will try kublai's idea. Sounds pretty reasonable.
Just have to do something about those jammers. Should two ECCMs on a BS be enough to avoid jamming as much as possible?

use a heavy cap injector on the bait ship and target the ecm ships before any of the other ships, focusing fire on them should pop them fast and eliminate the problem.

Edited by: kill0rbunny on 23/01/2007 09:47:48 By bigger Blob I was thinking of five or six people. As they are usually 8 to 10, that's pretty fair I think.
Sad they dock as soon as there's a chance to loose a tech 1 tackler frig.
Worst thing is, they don't seem to speak english, so they don't react on my excessive smacktalking in local. Does anybody know how to smacktalk russian?

Just translate something mundane in babelfish. Doesn't even have to be cursing or insults. If you're lucky, the translation will be flawed enough to be infuriating to them while they imagine what smack you were trying to say. --- Should CCP enact toll gates? Discuss it here! |

In other words some people got bored, made a bunch of alts and started blasting?
Sounds pretty fun to me :D
Btw, do you expect them to stick around to die? Just wondering.

So let me get this straight, You pirate in lowsec and in the same place you get hunted by the same groups over and over who use guerilla tactics and kill you, and they do this in T1 frigs (I'm assuming not just T1 frigs), and they don't respond to being smacked...you must be ****ed! Hmm. do you use scouts when out and about or is it a big surprise when they land on you and wipe you? What are your ships doing when they are ganked? If they are doing anything other than PVP then they deserve to get hit. If they are PVPing then they need a scout and dare I say it, watch local! How do they keep getting caught out

Then move location, moving around while pirating helps save isk by reducing ship losses.

The fact that you are not able to read what I wrote doesn't make you better. Don't quit school after second grade folks.
I talk about scum in noob corps, not noobs generally. These people are clearly alts and know exactly how to play the game. In fact I believe they do so to defend their isk farming grounds, which would male it even more pleasant to catch them. Which would make hunting them down even more fun.

I think pirating/anti-pirating out of a noob corp should get you double the sec hit.
Want to engage other people have the brass to be ready have people fight back (and I say this regardless of which side of the pirating fence you sit on).

Easy way to get them and here is what you do.
Get a HIGH SP char that can fly an incredibly t2 decked out BS and stick him in a frigate and intentionally get yourself killed to get kill rights on someone.
Now get in your Battleship and stick ALL your corp mates into your gang and move them into the High sec system they ran away too, find the guy you have kill rights for and attack him. If he defends himself by shooting back everyone in your gang that is a corp mate can attack them aswell.
The only real way to get revenge against these people is to use kill rights or simply decide to move around in large groups to deny them the opportunity to attack you. I'm suprised they still have the sec status to move into empire because if the turrents are shooting at them all you need to do is position someone with kill rights on the empire side of the gate and have them web/scramble someone with kill rights when they come through and simply let the turrents kill them for you.

They'd got you pegged as easy targets because you are too busy whining on the forums to adapt.
If you keep getting killed while solo, don't solo there. If they always have ships x,y,z have a ship that counters them.
Thats the beauty of EVE. If you're smart you can deal with things like this.

I would have to agree with hooligan... look at what you're saying OP, sounds like your corp is getting slapped around by a few 1m SP alts.

Does anyone else here see the irony? "We want to pirate in lowsec, but there are pirates in lowsec that kill us. Waaaaah."
Just so we're clear, you want to attack unsuspecting targets (presumably ones that can't fight back against your numbers) but are enraged when people use exactly the tactics you're planning to use on you?
Gimme a break.

If 1m SP is enough to fly a well fitted Raven or Scorp, then you could be right.

Hmm. I don't really know. Whatever.
We decided to let them farm the system and concentrate on our empire war.
Very funny, just got wardecced by a bigger corp, destroyed about 200 Mill and lost one kestrel.
