[17:08:47] Arleqwinn > found how to keep read mail "read" when you are reading your eve mails. Left click in the body of the eve mail and it will stay read. PASS THIS ON. Haven't tried in corp or alliance mail but does work in personal eve mail
NO MORE FLASHING EVE-MAIL LIGHT!!!!! Yeah me. Tell me if it works in corp and Alliance also.

Sounds like they have implemented a fix server side and you can trigger it manually by left clicking the mail, but after the patch it will be done automagically... im just guessing though. :)

Im no programmer but was it/will it be as simple as having the focus automagically on the mail frame. Sometimes the simple solutions are the best :)

I was wondering why some of my mail still showed as read while others didn't. I must have left clicked within the body of the message not realizing it.

this only started working since DT
it also works if you open the mail, read the mail and close the mail window, then reboot client
