I've noticed something interesting about my drone problems. They are related to what ship I'm using. I've tested to the extent possible for one person and it holds up. With Ishkurs for example I consistently have issues with the drones not wanting to return. With vexors and domis I have never ever had a single problem of any kind excluding ordering them to attack at very long range which we understand the issue there. Certainly one person's expierence is too small to make any kind of conclusion about but again this seems very consistent for me.

You're reading Oveur's statement wrong. He has the intention to hire someone who, when they find someone, will be assigned the duty to fixing drones.
Until the guy is hired, paraded in front of the community, has explained what he's going to do, I don't believe it.
Even if he has done all that and he is accountable, I still won't hold my breath.
To many promises, not enough delivering makes me this sceptical.

CCP should force this new person to play as Gallente and only train Gallentean ships. No mission-autopilot Raven for him/her.
To experience what is the problem with drones today you really have to just play with them. Listening to people on the forum that doesn't loose their primary weapons after warping out is no good.

Well, it's been 3 months since the original post and the only info I've seen regarding drones is that although they realize that the drone UI has issues, it is "currently not slated for Revelations 2.0 just because everybodyÆs schedules are already booked."
Not encouraging...

In the live devblog before last, someone said that there is no plans to rework drone AI before Rev 2.0 is live.
Rev 2.0 is in testing on sisi right now but is very feature incomplete, so its gonna be quite a while yet.

So many Ogre IIs lost to DC's and a breaking tank
I almost had a meantal break yesterday and fitted a blasterix to go through worlds collide lvl 4....i saved my self in the nick of time tho.
