"The Lord loosed upon them his fierce anger All of his fury and rage. He dispatched against them a band of Avenging Angels"
To the heathen filth known as the Defiants. Your time is coming to an end, we will tolerate your presence no longer. The recent losses you have taken is just the beginning. Yesterday we destroyed another combat party and my men followed the lone survivor back to Ushra¦Khan space where they took the fight to those scum as well and made them pay for their sins, sacrificing their own lives.
This is what we are Defiants, the Amarr Navy does not run from battle, it does not shirk its duty. It is the holy flame of Amarr and you can not hope to challenge us.
To the Ushra'Khan and Fimbulwinter, your puny establishments are kill on sight to my men. Do not come looking or expect any mercy from us. Once we have dealt with these Defiants, we will wipe your stench out.
And to the Loyalist paramilitaries. While your service to Amarr is a matter of public record and cannot be denied, and whilst many in the Navy speak of you very highly, I find myself disturbed by the records I have witnessed. There seems to be an underlying current of behavour and disrespect in your organizations that I would not tolerate from any of my subordinates, I will remain as I have always been, sceptical of your kind.

In the absence of an Emperor, PIE Inc. will follow the lead of the Privy Council and the Theology Council.
As such, we will always show due respect to officers of the Imperial apparatus.
If any disrespect has been shown to naval officers by PIE personnel, please privately forward the details on to me, and I will take appropriate action.
In the meantime, we stand ready to receive orders from the Imperial Navy.

Lord Admiral, I believe I can speak for many loyalists to the Empire when I say this:
You need but call and we shall appear to assist in whatever way we are needed.

Edited by: Lowanaera on 25/01/2007 11:41:08 With all due respect, I have a hard time understanding why we are the ones who deserve skepticism directed at us. Day in and day out we put ourselves at risk, fighting battles that the Navy will not touch, usually with not even token appreciation for it. We serve the Empire and God to the best of our ability without question, allowing the Navy to focus its resources elsewhere as it deems fit.
When the Navy does choose to directly face the threat we spend every moment struggling to contain, the results leave only questions as to just what the Admiralty is thinking. Just today I heard reports that the Navy had flown into the heart of Ushra'Khan space... in a force of a mere 6 ships that were easily slaughtered. What can this possibly accomplish but to bolster their morale and give them another "victory" to crow about?
When we do the dirty jobs the Navy will not, at great cost and risk to ourselves, without questioning, without complaining, serving the Empire in all things, with as you say our service being an undeniable part of public record, and then have you come to US with suspicion....
I serve God, I serve the Privy Council and hope to serve an Emperor when the Council appoints one. As part of the Praetorian Guard, I have sworn service to the Imperial Navy as well. However, it is impossible not to question whether the leadership of the Navy still best-serves God and Empire when what few visible efforts exist are poorly planned and dismally ineffectual, and then aspersions are cast on US. If you consider this more evidence of "disrespect", so be it, but my loyalty and duty to God extends beyond loyalty to any military officer, and I will not stand by while anyone subverts those efforts.
Lead us and we will follow. Our lives and our resources are at your call. But do not sit by while we serve as best we can and then deride us for it.

Do not presume to come to our space again and trow your weight around Admiral Heinok. Ushra'Khan space is soverign space under the recognition of CONCORD and we shall cater for whom ever we choose, and reject others likewise. Nothing waits for your people here except a frozen death.
Also I find it amusing to see even more internal problems with the Amarr and their so called guardians of the Empire. Now in disfavour with the Navy over your attitude? Please, do feel free to take your time in settling such disputes. No rush... ------

Listen to me minmatar filth. I tolerate nothing but absolute obedience and loyalty in the force under my command, my views are not to be questioned and my orders are undertaken to the very letter, any insubordination is dealt with harshly. The fact that I remain sceptical about paramilitary pod pilot forces and their ability to adhere to such doctrine does not mean there is any schism.
Navy Command has always held the pod pilot forces loyal to it in high esteem and has called upon them many times. They have fought well for Amarr.
That is all.

In times gone by, officers would throw themselves on their swords for failures such as yours Admiral Heinok. Passing the blame onto paramilitary forces is very concerning for the average Amarrian citizen reading the news reports that are coming in. |

In defence of the Lord Admiral, I do not believe that he has ever been directly responsible for a military defeat.

In that case thankyou for raising your personal reservations here in the public eye, and allowing them to be misrepresented as official position. Nice to show how the high and mighty Amarr cannot reign in their egos and be professional at times. Ego seems to be a problem all over your Empire it seems.
Schism or not, the more you do so and subsiquently back pedal the more it makes me smile at the potential damage it does. Soon we may not need to fight you at all and just sit back as your cursed Empire breaks in two under the weight of your egos and greed. ------

Lord Admiral,
As always, the loyal members of the Empire stand ready to execute any order given.
To you rebels and traitors
For many weeks now I have been on your doorstep hoping to show you the error of your ways. You had a chance to accept a meaningful place in society. The eye of the Empire is indeed upon you. At one time the eye was appraising you. It seems evident now the eye will bathe you in cleansing fire.
You were warned

Mabnen System - Emperor's Family Station - Ordo Quaesitoris' Headquarters:
The computer beeped softly, calling Sepherim's attention from the plans he was creating for tonight. It had found something that matched the multiple search cathegories, and was notifying the Keter of it's existance. The light blinking was red. An important one, from the Navy or the leaders of the paramilitaries.
Quickly, he gave order to it, and the screen changed to show the message. He took his time to read through it, and a small pause before replying.

My thoughts are with the brave Matari warriors who lost their lives that day, and the families that they left behind.
To Afi, to Wins, to Oran.
That only Eveh Ahyasma survived is a painful reminder that our job is far from done.
For Freedom. For UNITY. For our People.

I can't believe they are gone. I was having drinks with them in Thrace's just the other day. I will carry their memory into battle with me, and that way they shall remain warriors, even in death.

We do not expect any kind of mercy Lord Admiral Heinok, nor will we show any to your kind.
Not only do we challange you and your unholy empire, we also challange your God! We will continue killing the amarr navy as we have done for years. Perhaps you will even recognize a friend or two among these tags, it is just a few I saved for personal reasons

Such scepticism is well-founded, the capsuleer class is an inherently detabilising force with respect to the old order and the various loyalist paramilitaries, despite their professed alliegiances, cannot help but add to the effect by their very existence.
It would, of course, be better by far for such capsuleers to shuck off the ancient notions of empire but they do at least tend to add to the stresses that wrack all the core empires during this time of changes. Mostly the effect is inadvertent but, on occasion, it is amusing to note the conscious emergence of the inevitable will to express oneself in a manner that emphasises the power of the capsuleer, however lowly, when compared to the heaving masses of the planetbound and the baseline human.
Amarrian capsuleer paramilitaries, all in all, have done more to change the balance of power in and the nature of the Empire in well under a decade than uncounted cults, schisms and rebellions in hundreds of years of Amarrian history.
There is yet more to come and well might powerful but baseline Amarrians fear the rise of the capsuleer.
