Im sure by now many of you ancients have realised that that only way to dethrone Goons is to unite.

Pretty relevant, war and conflict is what they want, only way for them to collapse is for internal conflict to break them up. A full scale war is simply not possible and has literally 0% chance of removing goons. If you want to see them disband, wait 2 years when the Eve servers go offline for good. |

It's sad everyone makes fun of a post like this. Seen some other folks call for this, and never see any movement so I wont hold my breath. Though you never know nothing lasts forever.
On another note:
When a CSM is trashing other people ideas/ambitions makes sense people are not liking the CSM and wanting it to go away. Makes you wonder what they say or do around CCP. |

Go speak to him. All Gorski did is demonstrate why the third party platforms CCP seem to be using lately to communicate with the player base are flawed, because they are controlled by people with bias. CCP should be releasing and discussing information about the game here or in other places controlled by CCP.

The only way to really defeat them is the same way they won so many wars, don't fight, they will break from the inside cause no one is getting content, it's already happening, thats why they came to lowsec, sooner or later they will loose their motivated players to more fun groups to play with and all that will be left are Carebears in Deklein.
Just don't fight the goons, ingore them, thats probably the worst thing you can do to Mitten. |

At the end of the day, it will always make more sense to just not care.
If there is one critical flaw with EVE Online, it is that it is far too good at emulating reality. Hell, just look at the Blue Donut concept.
Most of the people blued up with each other don't even like each other. It's a lot like the United Nations is in reality. It will always be more cost effective to quietly hate your neighbors while trading with them than it would be to fight them.

I second this, people wonder why I cant take the CSM seriously. This is why. There are only two ways to deal with goons, either full scale war, or ignore them until they become irrelevant. Now most of us agree that removing that smug little fuckboi from relevance is best, but what happens to eve if we ignore them to death? Even more stagnation. More people quitting from boredom. Lets face the truth, win ore lose, eve could really use another huge war. Win or lose, it would do wonders for the health of the game. |
