Hello everyone, I havenĘt played in a month or so, but I have been just getting my skills up. I have all my Cap skills maxed and I have BS lv 4 with most of my gunnery skills doing good. I have about 4 million SP. I am going to be doing lv 3 missions for now to make some money, I was wondering what would be a good set up and what rigs I should be working tward?
Current set up:
7 Mega Modulated Pulse Energy Beam 1
1 Tractor Beam
Target Painter
Orion Tracking CPU
Barton Reactor Cap
100MN Afterburner
Large Accommodation Reconstructer
2x Active Hardner
Emergency damage control or Heat sink II
Heat sink II
2x Capacitor power relay
I havenĘt played in a bit so please rate my old build for missions and what type of rigs should I be trying to get for mission running? Thanks a lot!!!

Forget the target painter. Your guns will take down frigs just fine..Also, drop the tractor beam, and make a specific ship for looting, I suggest a inquisitor or Omen.
High Slots:
8x Modulated Mega Pulses
Mid Slots:
1x X5 web
1x Optical Tracking Computer
2x F-B10 Cap Rechargers (17.25%)
Low Slots:
1x Large Accomodation Repper
2x Named Cap Relay (22%)
3x Rat Specific Hardeners (Named)
1x Heat Sink
That works..your cap will substain just fine, and your DPS is around 300 with multifreqs. Rigs? Tanking rigs perhaps.

Thanks does anyone else have any tips? Im doing fine on the lv 3 missions right now with my current setup, but im worried about doing lv 4's. Should i switch to tachs and stay at range? Also any tips on rigs or other setups and advice?! Thanks alot!!

i run level 4 with an apoc
6xmega beamsII + 2xcruiser launchers(rat specific ammo)
sensor booster, 2xcaprechargers
2xlarII, 1600plate, 3x rat specific hardeners, rcu
use drones for frigs

For general ratting on my apoc I use :
High :
8x megapulse t2
Mid :
100mn ab t2
3x cap rechargers (2x eud and 1x t2 iirc)
Low :
Large rep t2
Med rep t2
2x heatsink t2
3x n-type hardeners
Rigs :
2x cap recharge rigs (I forget the name)
Depending on your skills you would have to switch a few things around for cpu/grid, but it should work relatively well for missions also. Just be sure to use lots of nice medium drones for the frigs.

Can anyone tell me how i would use this type of a set up? Would i just go back to base after the mission change ships, then go back to the mission before compleating it?

Yeah, or go make a bookmark of the location of the wrecks. Trust me, making a looter ship makes the looting go faster than when using the battleship, and it frees up High slots for guns, and you also dont need the AB in the mid slot. As for the setup I suggested, I soloed several lv4's in it.
