There won't be even 6000, the graph on the EVE I: COM Server Status Watcher is already falling... fast

I think we'll need to do another attempt when a few more ppl have joined eve, interesting thing is that 2/3 of the ppl in my buddies list wasnt online.
I guess this is just a busy time of the year
even the paranoid has real enemies...

yea suppose see weekday players will want a break at weekend
i would say though its been a partial success more ppl i think are playing tonight then usuall

Anyone else think that there are only about 4500 active unique accounts, the rest of the "20000" subscribers are inactive accounts, free month accounts or alts

you've got to remeber that most college/university students have final exams this comming week or the next as well.
Watch the server count increase during the first half of january.
Besides, we did hit , 5592 which was 2 people short of the 3 month high.

Yes, now in January more ppl will come. 2 weeks back everybody said 'wait till you see the period leading up to Xmas'. I suppose in January ppl will say more folks will come during Spring Break.
Face it, to get players back, we need tangible changes. And fast.

the event should have been on a Friday or Saturday. Lots of people go to work on Monday and cant stay up so late on Sunday. And the time for the event wasnt so good either, what about the other timezones?

December really is a busy month, and around christmas/newyear a lot of ppl will be at their family etc. so they wont be near eve, but beginning of january should be good. Though here in denmark all university etc. ppl have exams there LOL

yes as one aussie commented its monday morning down under, not really ideal.

it was a nice try...glad to see 6k on. the addition of the "cancel warp" feature was very nice. Thanks! Look forward to the tech 2 patch. good work ccp and fellow players!
oh..and just started listening to eve radio. very nice!!!!

U saw incorrectly, server stats maxed out at 5592 last evening.
thats many less than previous eve record, and isnt even the highest figure for any night in the past 3 months.
Its not a bad sign, just a sign that the next patch better bring lots to the game. It'll be fine with worldwide distibutiona nd advertsiing to get new people in, but if all the old people go then the game won't improve.

oke we didnt made it to 10k 
what we did was a nice effort to do something in eve as a comunity and i think we very well succeeded in that one.
lots of post's and ingame adverts ppl supporting each other, for like the first time instead of instand flame..
a well better luck next time .....
and ppl turn on your radio.
