Hi, I'm on the 14 day trial. I've played about 4 days and in these 4 days I've had to wait in a queue 3 times.
Now my understanding was that eve-online was a 1 server thing...That is everyone played on one server. This is a good idea...but it's not very productive to have one server if you have to have a queue on it...kind of takes away from the whole idea and is rather annoying.
Also, as a side comment, I'm of minmatar race based in Heimnatar (spelling is off I'm sure) region and I can't find a small projectile turret for the life of me. Now am I just crazy or isn't minmatar supposed to be all about the projectile turrets? Seems rather odd and irritating that I can't find a weapon of my race in my races own region.

I've never been in a log-in queue. But then I don't stick around in many hub systems...

I have been playing for almost 4 years- waited in queue once - for a few seconds.
I sometimes have lag - but usualy not too bad and not that often.
Meaning - your milage may vary.
If the system you live in have problems - consider moving away.

theres a max limit for trial accounts, or at least there was and their probably still is (though probably a bigger limit then the old 200.) And when the trial slots are all full you have to wait it out. Thems the breaks ;p
oh and if ur looking for the gun make sure u put in the name don't just say "small projectile turret" say which one it is, like "180mm autocannon" or "250mm light artillery." Though just putting 250mm and 180mm or such in the search will bring it up and u can pick it out of the list ;p. And if your going through the "browse" tab (which i don't recommend if u happen to know what ur looking for, its much slower) make sure the search is set to "region" not "station" or whatever.
And I personally have it sorted by number of jumps (so it'll show the ones that are in the station or system uptop, or failing that the closest systems ;p). Just change the sorting by price or quantity when I need it and change it back when im done ;p!

I'm guessing you're searching for "projectile turrets" in the market, when you should be looking for something more specific. Try "artillery" and "autocannon" for a start. Or better yet, look in the projectile folder in the Browse Market tab.
Hope that solves the problem. If not, I'm not sure what's going on, but there are plenty of guns in Heimatar.

Thanks for the answer on the queue question.
As for the small projectile turrets. I didn't just search "small projectile turret" because I know that just brings up the skill.
I went in the browser and went to projectile turrets - then there were no small projectile turrets at all in my region...kind of weaksauce. Whatever.

I'm sure there's some sort of mistake here, as there should be several NPCs selling the basic versions, not to mention all of the player orders. Are you sure you have the Region range box marked, rather than System or Station?

my guess is that you are viewing the station's market
do a search for 150 and choose whichever small on ya want.

Nope it was definitely on region search and I found nothing. I'm positive. Anyway whatever I got 3 150 rails.

You will burn in hell for using such monstrous creations on a minie ship  .
To spare your soul, I have contracted a selection of minmatars finest small projectile range to Talyx. Yours to collect from Gulfonodi X-15, free of charge.
Buy a rifter, and fit the correct guns :P (5% dam bonus per level...)
Edit...I threw in a couple of slaver hounds to keep you company

Something's definitely wrong.
Market window, make sure you have filter set to region. Browse 'Ship Equipment' -> 'Turret & Bays' -> 'Projectile Turrets' -> 'Autocannons' -> 'Small'
That should show up loads of weapons in Heimatar. If not, something is messed up.

If you are experiencing lag and queues frequently you aren't taking advantage of the fact that the Eve universe is huge, and generally more interesting away from where all the noobs hang out.

to the OP log in queues are to be expected in the following areas ( kisogo and jita - calderi hubs, amarr and ashab and kor azor prime - amarr hubs, rens,hek and heimatar - minmatar hubs, cistavert, oursaulert - gallente hubs)
basically anywhere with over 200-300 ppl in local is bad to log in to - that said if u find a quite system or even one with less than 100 oh theres lots around u will do fine

Login queue? Close eve and start again and queue is gone...so i never wait in them...
