You can use hotkeys 1-0 to change the dscan filter now.
Currently i only get the CCP default overviews and some of my own on the bottom.
Where can i change these to my own filters?

I have yet to find a way to do that. I haven't looked terribly hard, but it's certainly not in any of what I would think to be the obvious places.
I'm assuming it doesn't exist and that the new DScan isn't quite done baking yet.

If that is the case then i hope it's in the works. It's a cool feature but useless unless you can define your own filters.

You can define more than 5 overview presets too, and save as / give them names. You're just limited to 5 overview tabs, but you can always load differerent presets into the tabs on the fly. |

However, I fail to see why a couple more overview tabs couldn't fit.

I think they're worried that you'll get lag because of it.
Even if you're not looking at the overview tab, I believe it is "displayed" and updated by your EVE client. So basically if you have 5 tabs and you've elected to show drones on each, and you go to a fight with lots of drones, then your EVE client is updating that information every second 5 times for you.
Although, it's probably not an issue for modern computers, so maybe they just don't want to bother adding more. They'd have to bug-test it, you know. Get it past QA and all that. |
