I got t2 med drones t2 med hybrids and a full t2 tank, thing is im laking t2 heavys, only got lv2 yet, butt im gonna start whit it in a couple of day.. Im close to start of whit a lv4 agents and thinking about something like this:
2 x namned heavy nos 4 x t2 250 rails
4 x namned cpr 1 x heavy electrochem w/800
2 x large accomodant 1 x 1600 tungsten plate 2 x t2 rat specific passiv 2 x t2 rat specific activ
10 x t2 Hammerhead/Valkyrie 10 x t1 Ogres/berserkers
Ill get a nice range whit Spike ammo for the rails, anti hurts to(4m in gunnery) and the t2 drones are used on frigs first etc etc. Could get me a t2 dual repper but i heard that accomodant are just as good and ill mostly run caldari agents that gives me Gurista/blood raiders npc to tank. Should i wait for t2 ogres and berserkers or is it possible to run this setup already? Im got no skills in shields whatsoever which forces me to armor tank.
Comments please.

and ofc you dont need T2 heavies. but they help. gal BS and drone support skills can make up for a whole lot of dmg on their own.

And first train drone interfacing to 5, then heavy drones to 5 ----------------- Flamedrone II belonging to Valandril perfectly strikes you, wrecking your topic.

domi can be shield tanked too. and quite efficiently also... especially for angel mishes, or if you dont use your meds for drone upgrades.
lil hint: domis main power is versatility. and neat red uniforms.

What he said, but I feel tech I heavies are useless for lvl 4's (so fricking slow, just use specific med t2 drone vs the BS rats, they will do it a lot faster and get there and back faster too). If you want hard hitting tech I drones go for sentries, although that would mean you really really want a omnidirectional drone mod and a couple drone links (being stationary and all, nothing says pwned like insta popping frigs and destroyers at 80+ km).
As for the guns, is up to you, will make your missions go faster, also means you have to constantly activate guns and such..
But yes, omnidir mod is very useful, active armour tank only, dmg control ftw. Good hunting :)

oh lol it just occured to me... if you dont have E-war drone interfacing trained real high, you should stick a drone link augmentor in the highs.

Um. Math says heavy drones first than interfacing. The damage increase from the racial spec skill (at lvl4) plus the higher t2 multiplier and the minimum move from 20 to 25% extra damage (heavy4->5) is more than the "20%" extra from interfacing 4 to 5. (You are going from 180% damage to 200% damage.)
Btw t1 heavies (right damage type for mission) with omni, bs4, i4 and h4 still have a hard time killing the mission bs.

True, but you also have to factor in the higher cost of T2 Drones. So going for DI 5 first may be the better choice in some cases = Almost the same damage at a much lower price. --- The Advanced Drone Control Panel. |
