Ever since I first heard about the Force Auxiliary ships and their "fax" abbreviation, I thought the abbreviation should be "faux". It makes more sense as the abbreviation - you don't drop the "u" in the middle, plus it makes for a more fancy acronym. |

Pretty sure CCP are using the general term to describe them but I don't know if they are intending it as a mechanical in game term. |

Well you could hardly call them triage ships.. even though thats what they do.

Faux ships would be even worse, you'd be calling them fake ships.
They're 'capital maintenance vessels' really, but i can't think of a sexier name either.
God knows why CCP named the logistics ships 'industrials', and the maintenance ships 'logistics'. That just adds to confusion |
