In black fleet's case, they had 3 domis (that much nos will kill any carrier), AND they didnt fight off a support fleet. Contact mach'ett3 for all your sig needs

(proof or stfu) And dishonest how so? The carrier self destructed yes, but died nevertheless, as a result of our actions, and in my book, that's a kill. As far as i can see, we will never be respected, no matter what we do, why? i don't no, it's a shame really, we are a great bunch of piolets, and we continue to make great strides in this game. Also sanguine legion, and black rabbits, great fight last night, was a real slug fest, big losses on both sides, much respect.

I'd prefer if self-destructing either voided one's insurance, or took five minutes rather than two when one is trying to do it to a capital ship, personally. So we gloat a little... don't you when your happy about a good fight that you won? Having said that, I think here you are spoken like a true billionare carrier pilot. I'm sure that if the solo Battleship/Haulers/Etc that you blow up in half a second with your carrier were able to "self-destruct" and deny you loot, you'd complain. Apparently, however, if someone gets enough ships together to kill you, and you don't see it coming, you want the ability to deny them loot. It would appear from your post, that you think that "blobing" your carrier is unfair in some way, and feel justified in being able to self-destruct to deny them loot. OK. killing a carrier with 3 Domis, a Sleipner, a Curse, a Scorpion, a Stabber, and a Kestrel is like killing a battleship with 8 punishers. Is this a grand thing? to down a battleship with 8 frigs? hell no. To take down a BS with one frig is for sure something to put your hands up about \o/. Blackfleet caught a lone carrier on a gate with a very well put together fleet, a fleet that was able to nos, use drones etc to pop fighters... hell if you didn't take the Archon down with what you had, you'd have some something horribly wrong. Its a decent kill for you guys in black fleet, but really nothing to write home about guys... Edit. Can't type (still!)
