I think we need the Chaos server mirroring again. All our skills are too outdated.. Is this too hard a task to do, or are there other reasons why it isn't done more regularly?

Yeah I'd really like to give Chaos a go but being relatively new my char on Chaos is almost useless.

Please don't mirror chaos yet.
A lot of people have been testing regularly and have spent a considerable amount of time training the new skills and running (research) agent missions over the past month to test the new features (and have submitted a lot of BR's).
A mirror now would mean everybody who have been testing would have to train those new skills again, thus it makes sense not to mirror Chaos while new code requiring new skills is being tested.
After the code goes live it will make perfect sense to mirror once again, and another mirror before an update that requires new skills will be quite nice too (as was done this time).

hmm chaos skills exp is infront of my TQ skills exp...Guess u need to equip all those implants that are on chaos atm

Last time I asked, a chaos mirror took two days.
It is, after all, a case of copying a /very/ large database from London to Iceland, over the internet.
I don't know if the process itself is simple, or what - it might be the case that someone hits a big "go" button and comes back a couple days later, or it might be more involved and require overseeing - not a clue on that one.
Just so you know, and stuff.

Thankyou for the replies and thoughts everyone. I'm no game programmer, so i don't really know the logistics of it all. But does it mean, because the mirror is so old, that any new players can not use chaos until the server is mirrored and their characters are included in the database?

If your *account* didn't exist on TQ when the copy was taken you won't have it on CH, and thus won't be able to even log in.
I believe there's also problems for you if your account happened to be suspended (i.e. for nonpayment) at the time the copy was taken. You'll have to find 'someone' to get it reactivated on chaos.
