Just looking for some Drake setups that people are using for level 4's.
I want to start using a Drake for level 4's and want to see what people are using. ------------------------------------- The difference between a Pirate and an Anti-Pirate is that an Anti-Pirate fights ships fitted with guns!

I tried a few L4's with my Drake a while back, was setup as:
HIGH: 7x Limos Heavy Launcher MEDIUM: 3x Large 'Regolith' Extender 1x Invulnerability II 2x Hardener II LOW: 1x Power Diagnostic II 2x Shield Power Relay I 1x Ballistic Control II RIGS: 2x Core Defence: Field Purger (recharger)
Tanked an entire level of rogue drones (including 2 or 3 drone battleships), and another level with a horde of Sanshas without any problems.
Breaking the tanks on the battleships was boring as all hell though, so I'm poking around in L4s with a Raven now.
I might try the Drake again with better damage skills, also might upgrade all the launchers, add a rig and swap in an extra BCS II.
Takes a damn long time to clear anything though.
EDIT: Had to rephrase due to moronic language filter.

Quote:
Highs: 7 x T2 Heavy Launcher T2 1 x Small Tractor Beam
Meds: 2 x Large Shield Extender T2 2 x Invulnerabilty Field T2 2 x Rat Specific Hardeners T2/Faction
Lows: 3 x Domination Ballistic Control Systems 1 x Named Shield Power Relay
Rigs: 3 x Core Defence Field Purger I
Drones: 5 x Warrior T2
Plenty of DPS to clear all BS spawns in Level 4's and can survive long enough to get the incoming dps down to a managable level. Everyone is so hellbent on tanking the entire stage when you really don't need to. Much prefer this than the raven as I can just leave it tanking a spawn and go do RL stuff when I want.

I was thinking something along the lines of this:
7 x T2 Launchers 1 x Tractor
3 x LSE II 2 x Active Hardener II 1 x Dread Guristas Invul. Field
2 x Dread Guristas BCU 2 x SPR I
3 x Core Defence Field Purger I
Should have nice DPS, enough to break a BS. According to Quick Fit, Cap shouldn't drop past 60%. High 80% resists on Primary Damage Has a Max regen of 135 hp/s will full regen in 340/s
Seem good? ------------------------------------- The difference between a Pirate and an Anti-Pirate is that an Anti-Pirate fights ships fitted with guns!

This is what my current setup looks like: image linkage (173 KB jpg) My current skills are in the sig, left side.
Stats : 220 kin DPS, peak shield recharge 152 per second, and you can see the resists.
The PDU is there only until I get AWU up to L4, then it goes away for either an extra SPR or an extra BCU. The invuls are also there only because, well, they can be run forever with the PDU. I usually run 3 named T1 hardners, but recently switched to T2 heavy launchers and grid was too short without a PDU. _ MySkills | Module/Rig stacknerfing explained |

with BC4 high: 7x heavy II + 1x anything med: 2x LSE, 3x Invul, 1x sensor booster, webber or target painter. low: 3x BCU II, 1x relay
that's with no rigs and should tank most lv4. For the harder ones replace Invul with racial hardners, if that stil dosn't cut it replace a BCU with another relay.
or you can get grid/cpu rigs, one of them should let you fit 3x LSB + 3x BCU together, the other two rigs being purgers of course.
