It makes sense to have a BS have a longer lock time on fast moving frigates and cruisers. BS to BS lock time should at the very least be faster or stay the same. Anyone who pays 90mil for a ship deserves to have an extremly strong advantage over some who pays 3mil for a ship. It may not be fair to anyone who doesnt have a BS but I worked hard for my BS so I think its ok if I have an advantage over other ships.
The way the game is atm a few crusiers with ew can destroy a BS.
If these changes take place I don't see how PvP will happen unless you have three sensor boosters at the minimium.

Jarjar, now I know you are an experienced player so would have expected a pinch of common sense.
Needless to say if I said ok, meet me at planet X in system Y and I will show you, you would could easily equip and BS to take an single cruiser. I dont deny this.
I am saying that 1 cruiser CAN take out a BS in right circumstances. If you are going to tell me that a well equipped PVP Blackbird cannot warp into a belt and lock down and destroy an unprepared BS then I dont even have time to entertain your arguments.
Yes a decent BS pilot can take out any lone cruiser, this is a given. It wasnt my point. The fact is though that so many people fly BS these days and I assure you half of them havent even got a clue how to outfit it. You just have to look at this forum 'Can someone tell me how to outfit my Tempest' 'Can someone tell me how to play my game etc etc'
My whole point was that experienced players seem to be hostile towards this change in it current format for a very good reason. There are other reasons people dont have mixed fleets and the fact that only BS's can kill things is not the reason.
Hmmm, we read through official thread, what do we find. Experienced PVP'ers against the idea ....for a reason

I agree that BS cant be a lone wolfs.... Frigate squadron ripping BS at short range while BS is equipped for long range is thing that i want to see happening ...
but there is stil setups for BS to make it Lone wolf....
I caal it "Tour Boat" Setu, it is Anti jamming/ Scramble steup that is based up to Speed - giving u a choise to stay and fight or runn....that kind of BS can be a lone wolf.. but Fully batle equipped BS just can be absolutly a fortress...
it must have atleast 1 or 2 cruiser supportting it..... or a massive Drone fleet....
for example: all Massive Fleet-batles ... the Capships in there alvays got support....and if u think that fighter cover is just for Style or it look neat u are wrong... Escorts have it own purpose.. some of u have figure it out , and some one of u havent...well i hope u find out soon
