i personaly get a big dissepointment when testing defenders on incoming missiles ...
when getting fired att by 3 heavies the best result was taking out 2 of 3, using 3 defenders...Often it was only one hit ...It seemed like all 3 defenders locked on the same missile and when the first was down the other two just kept flying and exploded. was testing to wait couple of seconds before lounching def.nr2 and 3 but get the same result...I m lev 4 att def missiles so its not a skill deficite.
Its kind of annoying becouse it makes defenders non effective and not worth heving, at least more then one ... Def missiles should take out 1-1, 2-2 and so on
anybody that have some expirience on that?

Defenders atm will always target the nearest missile in my experience.
If that missile blows up, all the defenders blow up. This makes defenders fairly useless, if you have a fast firing launcher or multiple launchers. Nothing to see here .... move along. |

I use defenders fired from a small launcher - of course I donŠt get a 100% missile kill rate, but they work reasonably well imo (not quite as well as smartbombs, but defenders require less timing and attention). Sometimes the little glitches in their targetting behaviour are annoying, but IŠm sure those will be sorted out eventually.

In other words ...its uselles to have more then on defender at the time....a big disadvantage, think that something needs to be done on this!

U must use defenders manualy !
one shot / missile - whait til it explodes and launch another ... and so on.... i know it is a drag, but its a only way to make 100% missilekils -------------------------------------------

The ONLY reason today to use more than one launcher with defenders is if you're so close to your target that the defenders take out missiles before your launcher cycles. It is pointless to have more than one defender in the air at any time... :/

Now thats really bad and a real surprise.
I wanted to fit defenders to 6 launchers on Raven and thought i would be missile proof....

More like 6 Smart bombs.....and u culd be somewhat missileproof.... -------------------------------------------

I heard about that but i fear: 1- hard to activate at right time no? 2- it sucks quite abit of cap. 3- i wouldnt be able to fire missiles as well no?( i would hurt myself with splash dmg)
