Hi everyone,
question: did you get faction items from missions ?
Especially e.g. from Level 4 Angel Extravaganza Bonus Stage ? If yes, which ship or structure did drop it ? What item did you get and how often does it happen at which mission ?
So far I got high value factions tags and overseer effects. I heard that there is a 5 % chance for high end faction items to drop (of the 10/10 plex X-/A-/B-type items) but i have yet to see them. Could be only a rumour, could be i am just unlucky. I imagine that the odd True Sansha etc. module drops from normal mission loot, but it has yet to happen to me. So far I only got faction items from 0.0 ratting or running 10/10 plexes - and sometimes i get them as loyality point offers.
On a related note .... has anyone ever got a T2 BPC from killing NPC convoys of NPC research corporations ? Or a faction item, datacore, research database ?

You will very rarely get faction loot from the angel extravaganza room 6.
in about 40+ missions ( actual number probably much higher) I have gotten one (1) domination large sb and two (2) domination tracking enhancers :)
Now keep in mind, the only times I personaly have gotten this was in a .3 system, so higher sec may void this.
Some other missions on rare occasions will have an officer rat instead of the normal ship type, these will also drop faction loot. worlds collide is known for this on occasion.
For the most part remember that officer type spawns are normaly lowsec/zero only which is why many players move to those locations. If you play in High sec you will not get the rewards of living dangerously.

On a side note. I did the extra room in angel extravaganza level 3 and got to fight a BS or two (nice) and also received a domination armour hardener for it. This was about 1 week atfer Revelations was released.

so worlds colide and AE are the only ones that "may" drop faction loot?
are there any other missons?

Officer boss rats sometimes - VERY rarely - appeared in "Vengeance" mission. That info is pre-Revelations patch. Have not seen one since, but that does not mean they have been removed.
They did drop True Sansha or Dread Gurista or Domination Angel loot (no more than one), but not plex style A-/B-/X-type modules.

exploration sites are more suitable for invention related stuff NPC haulers outside station only drop NPC trade goods. faction gear can be found on empire faction frigs missions are very very rare unless youre in low sec ( higher chance) or 0.0 ratting or plexes
Yet to see faction gear come out of explroation but reading other threads its possible also
