EWAR drones are anecdotally some of the least used and least useful things in the game, between bizarre effects lile mild TP or damps, neuting and webbing we observe that these special snowflake itema are extremely rare on the battlefield. Personally I've only ever seen neuting drones used on SISI where the consequences of their use are moot.
With the upcoming carrier fighter changes I've noticed with some trepidation that fighter squadrons will potentially be given a number of ewar powers and this concerns me quite a bit, if current ewar drones are already in white whale levels of rarity what will a squadron of fighters worth 30mil+ each be like? I just don't simply see a case for them, anywhere.
So I've thought about polling the public for some opinions on current ewar drones as they stand - how often they are used, best case scenario, worst case scenario and willingness to deploy them in preference to other drone types.
In your response please don't list perfect storm type situations I am strictly interested in your day to day exposure to these magnificent beasts.
Once some general opinions have been observed then it would be prudent to discuss new fighters but first - ewar drones.

EWAR drones actually see a fair bit of use. Usually as a last-ditch escape mechanism, but they have other uses too.
Bear in mind that I'm talking about the Caldari ECM drones. The other EWAR drones are pretty lackluster I confess, but those ECM drones do have plenty of uses.

I personally use both Webbing Drones and ECM Drones.
ECM Drones are great, great for last chance escapes, amazing in swarms against enemy Logi squadrons or Bhaal support.
Webbing Drones I use in a special way, with my Rail Mega in Small Gangs, and they make a massive difference, and they generally give a Garmur a strong "Sod Off" vibe when you get them on him, as they move like Warrior Drones (Fastest). So they have their niche uses. |

You can mix webbing and TP drones together in the same flight for better overall dps application to targets that you would usually have issues hitting.
Mix them because web and TP drones are also subject to stacking penalties, same as their module counterparts.

While you are entirely correct I am wondering about their relative effectiveness. Their rate of use is also a consideration in any combination. Do you have any examples where this combination is used in TQ?
