Instead of giving you some standard recruiting speak, we decided weÆd instead preemptively answer your most frequently asked questions in a F.A.Q. Now, since none of you have actually asked these questions yet, we canÆt really call it that, so weÆll go with P.A.Q. instead. Preemptively Answered Questions.
Q: WhatÆs up with the name?
A: Fluffy Pink Bunny Rabbits was already taken. We shall come for you one day FPBR!
Q: No, seriously, what the heck does Apoapsis mean?
A: If I told you IÆd probably have to kill you. The first rule of Apoapsis is not to tell anyone about Apoapsis.
Q: Wait, wait, wait, if the first rule is not to tell anyone about Apoapsis arenÆt you breaking that rule yourself?
A: Well, I havenÆt really told you anything true yet have I? Besides, that rule makes for really silly recruiting policies so I had the rule maker sacked and rewrote the rules myself at great expense at the last minute.
Q: So, are you going to explain the name?
A: You sir in the back, next question please!
Q: So what is this alliance all about?
A: The act of allying or the state of being allied.
Q: That sounds like the definition of alliance, I meant what does your alliance do?
A: Oh, right. I shall have to fire my answer writers for that one! AMC is about building up infrastructure to make the move out to 0.0 space. A single corporation achieving this task is very difficult; it is much easier as an alliance of corporations. We protect each other from any threat to one of us. ItÆs also easier if you have some fun along the way, and weÆre all about fun. Oh yeah, we also pursue Club Sandwiches at all costs, for they are good and we shall have them all.
Q: So youÆre going to move into 0.0, wonÆt that make other people in 0.0 mad?
A: We have several special artifacts that we are going to use to smooth our entry. In fact, I have one of them here, see?
Q: That looks like a bag full of ISK chips?
A: Ummàright, next question!
Q: Yarr?
A: No, we are not a bunch of pirates nor do we tolerate pirating amongst our members. And your question was really vague, be more specific next time.
Q: What does Apoapsis mean?
A: Aha, thought you could trick me while my guard was down eh? Well it wonÆt work! I will not tell you that the Apoapsis is the point in an orbit farthest from the body being orbited.
Q: Umm, didnÆt you just tell us what Apoapsis meant?
A: No I didnÆt.
Q: So, like you probably only have 5 people in your alliance right now, you and 4 alts?
A: No! It is me and 74 of my alts. We currently have 75 people in our alliance and are actively adding to our numbers every week.
Q: Do you really have 74 alts?
A: Do I look like the type of person who hangs out in Jita mining? Sheesh, bunch of silly people here at this P.A.Q. session. CanÆt find good imaginary question askers these days I tell ya.
Q: So what kind of corporations is AMC looking for?
A: Ones that enjoy club sandwiches. Other types include PVP, Mercs, Carebears, Researchers, Industrialists, Ex-pirates ok if you behaveàSo, basically all those who like club sandwiches.
Q: Do you have a Public chat channel?
A: You will not find us in ôAMC Publicö (sans the quotes of course). This is not the chat channel you are looking for.
Q: ?
A: Donkeys and Human ears. What? You didnÆt actually ask a question so I gave you the standard AMC answer. No, really, see the image up above.
