What "big pew pew" are you talking about? We are small alliance. We have no chance in direct POS warfare with IRON/D2/BOB simply because we will be totally outblobbed. Only thing we can do is to fight them in empire or do guerilla warfare in 0.0.

I kinda understand what your thinking is but you don't need to outpos d2 at all. 1 deathstar setup correctly and you're laughing. Look at outbreak, 1 corp, not an alliance, causing serious damage to several alliances. That looks far more fun to me than being knee deep in blue's.

Your lack of knowledge about our areas of operation is understandable, but makes you look like a tool. We do not even need to put up a pos to terrorize multiple alliances and never have. If someone put up a pos it might happen for entertainment purpose and hardly ever more.

And you should also know that a "deathstar pos" doesn't save you against 40 dread and 100ish battleship fleets + titan. I have no idea what game you play, but I apparently play another one=)

Personally, I fail to see how the "Northern NAP train" as it seems to be known nowadays is in any way either a Bad Thing OR significantly different to the situation in the south. I mean, on the one had we have a north where people (mostly) live peacefully alongside their neighbours and exploit the resources of their chosen region... and on the other we have a south-west where everyone (mostly) lives peacefully under the dominion of BoB and exploit the resources of their chosen reason.

Where's the difference, exactly? I'm having trouble seeing it. Is it only dropped by a rare Sansha officer spawn or something?

The south is absolutely nothing like the North.

In the North, most of the major powers have NAPed each other.

In the South, the most major powers are BoB, AAA, LV, and RA, each with their respective allies (FIX for BoB, IAC for AAA, GOON for RA, and so on). ASCN was of course formerly on this list also. I don't believe more than two of these 5 (now 4) alliances have ever been napped together.

If the southern alliances did what the northern ones did, AAA would be mining for BoB, RA would be working with LV on their 8th titan, and FIX would be running joint mining ops with ASCN.
