Thinking of creating a miner / industrial alt ... and since ive never considered this b4, was wondering what attributes are most important to this type of character, & if any particular race has an advantage over any others atm, in any form.

primarily intelligence and memory, willpower and perception would be required only for the ships.

Any race with high intelligence and memory are good for a lot of the industrial/science/electronic/engineering skills. So its a main thing for all industrials. But at the same time, dont forget that haulers and barges are all ships, and as ships they require willpower and perception.

Yes, and I'd recommend balancing int/mem against each other. Science = Int primary, Industrial = Mem primary, with various support skills usually using one or the other.
Ships are a pain in the arse, but provided you can get some decent implants, not horrible, even if you don't bother raising your perception and will power one point.
