LOL, for us it would probably be Omber  I honestly don't know what most people's loadout was at the time as the op was just to meet around HQ, could have been anything

too bad people are never really that close together in game. It's funny when you think about it. EVE is more realistic space wise, and in Star Trek the ships are practicly touching eachother when they meet in space lol, I mean, they must warp out about 1k away from the other ship.

Well, thats a big ass fleet you've got there..
heres a shot of one of our fleets taken just before the end of beta - its the only shot I have left from beta.. I knew it'd come in handy one day :)
actually, its more of a possie than a fleet..

The only few i have are from the Old CFS-CA War.
These pics were taken from the first attack on the first day i believe. (please note i havent hidden any channel details as they expired months ago )

ok it might be just me but i think the pic is a photo shop job no little square brackets rounds the center of the ships and also if they where in ur corp there should be teh little green bar.
I could be wrong any thoughts?

Thank you for taking the time to post those fleet pictures. Always nice to view a dedicated group of pilots working together.

LOL, can't help ya there. Here's a shot I took with the UI on if it helps ya :-) It took some time to do but you'd be surprised how useful the "keep at range" feature is for formations.

I am still waiting to see what LordXL and Biomass cooked up since I know they were planning something similar.

We spent about an hour making the different formations seen in Riffix post at the top, taking the screen shots, and doing some fleet gang warps around the Penirgman system. It was a blast!

I was in Fountain during the First War that led to the creation of the FA. I actually fought on the "locals" side and even gave Leyla 1 million isk to help people that had lost ships in the fighting.

Just to clarify....
We did this as an event to support the "big logon" that turned into a "medium-sized logon" and to make a change from the normal rat hunting / trading / mining / blowing loonies up that our corp normally engages in. It was fun to get a few people together to pose for photos, and no, they werent photoshopped. Biomass Cartel had challenged people to a fleet shot competition apparently - I havent seen their pics yet but I reckon they will have to be going some to beat ours. All the ships in those pics are from the same corp by the way.

Thats some nice pictures Riffix, well done. Can't help to wonder how many ships it would take to close the orbit ring
