Troubadour Slacker Industries Exuro Mortis	Posted - 2007.01.29 14:41:00 - [1] Who are Slacker Industries? As undoubtedly the thread title has informed you, Slacker Industries is currently recruiting. We are looking for a select few experienced individuals to join our ranks and expand our numbers, as well as joining our family. Currently our members are spread fairly evenly throughout the time zones, however we are especially interested in augmenting our European and West Coast wings at this time. We are a corporation with a single goal: PvP at its finest. This means wars, mercenary contracts, and piracy - all day, every day. We do not have time for industry, mission running, or mining. We operate on our own with positive standings are at a bare mininmum and we rely on nothing but our own wit and talent. As many who have come to know us over the years will tell you, we specialize in cold, calculated destruction without mercy, remorse, or second thought of collateral damage. We are cohesive, we are singleminded, and we are efficient. What are we looking for in a recruit? We are a corporation that strives for intelligence, both in game and out of game. We realize that while skillpoints may be a limiting factor to your Eve existence, they do not define who you are as a pilot. When we recruit, we are looking for team players who can function both in small gangs and large fleets, who can follow orders but also understand the underlying tactical reasoning behind those orders and improvise if required. We are looking for leaders who are willing to fight outnumbered and if required, sacrifice themselves for victory. Most of all we are looking for pilots who understand that combat in Eve isn't just about getting killmails, but instead an ongoing romance between strategy and quick thinking. We hold motivation, loyalty, and participation above all other values - put your heart into it, regardless of your skill level, and we'll respect you for it. If you think that this describes you, we're waiting. Requirements While we look for deeper traits than these, we do require some low standards for security and management purposes. Required - Teamspeak (mic optional, but it's preferred) - 4 million skillpoints, at minimum. - You must be self sufficient. - Security Status above -2.0 Bonuses - Tech2 specialized, in particular cruisers and frigates - Capital ships skills (carriers, dreads) - European or West Coast US timezone What should I expect if I apply? Your application will be reviewed by a team of directors and upon its initial approval, an ingame or voice-comm interview will be arranged. Shortly following the interview, you will be informed as to the final acceptance of your application. Once in the corporation, you will be placed on a short evaluation period in which your participation and attitude will determine your future with us. If you fit, you're fit for life. A sense of humour is needed as its one of the biggest ****taking corps you are ever likly to be in. Above all Slackers is about fun, there are very few restrictions on who you can shoot and after 3 years of us there are plenty of others who would like to shoot you. We do Empire and 0.0 operations so you get the best of both worlds. As Troub says we do all types of PVP, we will provide training if needed, the Corp has a wealth of experience in all areas. Come and join the riot.

But just as a hint, if your targets are so afraid of you that they'll let you take back a tower and your loot just so you wont shoot them for a few weeks, there's no point in wasting money. We accomplished our goal for that campaign. Back on topic, we're looking for good people who get it without having to resort to having their hands held 24/7. We don't mind getting you on your feet, but we do expect you to walk on your own quickly enough.

If you're willing to bring it up to a more reasonable level, definitely get in touch with Troubadour or News and arrange an interview. The security status requirement is only for when we take on merc contracts or engage in empire wars. An often occurrence, but we'll excuse you if you cant make the first one or two.
