I picked up my Abaddon last night and threw on some spare mods to play with it a little before bed. I tagged along on a mission, and when we got there I opened fire on a battleship - now I didnt have 8 of any single crystal type (I was planning on buying the proper fittings today) so almost each laser had a different color crystal in (just what I had from loot). As I was sitting broadside, it looked like a rainbow bursting out and hitting the other ship, was pretty cool effect 
Can't wait to upgrade and try the Tachyon Rainbow of Death hehe! "Aw, look its so prett.....OH GOD IT BURNS IT BURRRRNNSSS!!!"

Next time try doing that in an asteroid belt targetting 8 different rocks in different directions.

Althought the "in burns" comment was rather hilarious I hope you realize that your Abaddon will most likely suffer a horrible demise at the hands of some tier 1 BS of another race.
If it makes you feel any better, I too have wasted many skill points on the Amarr tree.

if he's mixing crystals you can make that a tech I cruiser.

I have used a Rokh for mining and 8 Orange Mining lasers looks cool, so I can imagin how cool all different ones must have looked.
But I got to ask what kind of Jerk comes to the forums to talk about the cool space rainbow he created and then not have any pics to show us.

I once warped in with a geddon and melted 8 vessels under a minute.
Point of this story, the nerfbat hits all...

Short time after that event, i was ganged with a dominix. It has 6 megapulse and 7 damagemods fitted + some shieldtanking...worked very nice
