Eveinfo is well known website used by many in the eve community, however it an advertises isk/item selling website.
It is linked from a couple of 'official' areas, yet it supports buying/selling in game items. Ebay ads on the top right, and it even advertises for 'swagvault' and no, thats not a google ad! the image url is http://eveinfo.com/exads/swagvalut.gif so they are CHOOSING to advertise to it. Yet people are still donating money to them, and I'd also like to point out they WERE at one point selling GTCs aswell from their website.
edit: and sry not trying to be an ******* or anything but it ****es me off that they are advertising with both ebay, and they are CHOOSING to advertise for that isk selling company and yet still ask for donations. Ebay I can understand, they dont have control over what it advertises, but they are blatantly supporting that other site. They even consider it an 'affiliate'
edit2: and apparently they ARE able to choose what they have on their ebay advertisements seen here: http://img329.imageshack.us/img329/9167/blogir7.jpg they have it specifically to search "eve online" now how the FK can you even say that they arent supporting this sh!t?

What's wrong with selling GTC? Personally it saves me money when I buy them from shatteredcrystal. Nothing wrong with GTC for cash.
The rest of your thread.....whatever. Eveinfo is still one of the most useful sites out there.

QFT. I also know which entity in-game is behind the hosting of this website. (suits them well)  And yes they were selling/reselling gtcs.

Do you realize they were buying the GTCs ingame for isk and reselling them for cash @ their website?

Don't think anyone was disagreeing with that, nor suggesting you to stop using it.
Just urging folks to stop donating ISK to the maintainer, unless they really want to support ISK farming/macroing economy.

I was contacted by them as well and was told they worked close with eveinfo, which imo is kinda sad but I can see the reason why they do it.

Edit: Didn't CCP mention that they would not support any site linking to eBay sales, ISK seller sites and similar even if it was through Google Ads? In which case CCP would remove their support (or maybe just FanSite listing) from just about every site out there.
