We were talking in corp today about the idea of putting out corpses to show people that we are dangerous and they should stay away. But jettisoned corpses can be picked up too easily.
How about a deployable corpse? Or a trophy that has a corpse involved in it so you can show it off to visitors. Basically a head on a spike. |

How do corpses in EVE demonstrate that you are dangerous? I can just fly around in the area of a Null sec battle and collect corpses without having to fire a single shot. Not to mention that corpses are tiny. You might want to watch this, even the tip of a Succubus spike is bigger than a human body, even strapped on a mobile depot, you would need hundreds to make them visible without having to resort to an electron microscope.

My ridicule, heavy criticism and general pale outlook about your or CCP's ideas is nothing but an encouragement to prove me wrong. Give it a try.

Guys, I'm asking for a play on the head on a spike that you might see from a warlord. It's about marking territory, not necessarily a literal anchored corpse. Just something to spice up our home.
It might also be fun to anchor other stuff like player created billboards, etc, so that we can stop using mobile depots with clever names. Again, just ideas for deployables that might spice up the game a bit, but if you guys hate it, please keep telling me. |

Question is:
Can you clog a gate with enough corpses?

Also, if you are dangerous, why would you want them to stay away? Wouldn't you want visitors so you can actually be dangerous?

Howabout ships on spikes? Could be interesting if there was a high slot module that could be used on any ship that's partway into structure (and has zero shields/armor), and it'll tag that ship such that when it blows up, instead of creating a lootable wreck, all loot will be lost and the ship will instead be transformed into a trophy item. The fact that 1.) you're strong enough to snag the target while they're in structure but before they pop, and 2.) you're mean enough to abandon the loot/salvage opportunity is partly a statement by itself, but the trophy item will conserve the ship type as well as the name of its former pilot, any SKIN applied, and its kill marks.
The killmail could mention that the ship was turned into a trophy item and also tell who owned the item at the time of its creation.

I see this being used to circumvent the changes giving wrecks more hp so people can't just pop them and destroy the loot
