White-Noise is opening its doors to new applicants.
A bit of History:
White-Noise is made up of mostly ex pirates and ex mercs. We have been around the block in combat and are now looking to put our knowledge to a purpose. Inevitably we would like to build our own empire, and secure a section of lowsec for folks to be able to enjoy again. Low sec is dead, wed like to help change that a bit.
Requirements:
1. Must be a team player - We are not looking for freeloaders who's only concern is making there wallets bigger. If you fall in this category, please don't waist either of our time. We are looking for team players who will be a good addition to the family.
2. Willingness to fight, if ordered, despite moral objections or unfavorable odds. - We do not house folks who just wanna sit out combat in stations. Everyone is expected to take up arms when a member or corp asset is under attack, sometimes this results in security status loss. Miners, industrialist, ratters, mission runners and pvpers, your all capable of shooting a target. This doesnt mean form a blob cause theres a pirate in system. There is plenty of combat oriented folks in the corp to help fend off pirates. And if there not online, form a small task force to deal with it yourself. The veteran members will help you learn how to do this. Everyone is expected to have at the minimum 1 battleship fitted and at the ready should things get hairy.
If we go to war or our assets are under assault from an enemy fleet, then those who woudlnt normally be part of the defensive force will need to take up arms. It really isn't that bad, if you can listen to orders on teamspeak and follow what the veteran combat players suggest for your ship fitting, you will find its a lot easier then you think and fun.
We wouldn't expect those who aren't combat oriented to go off on there own trying to fight hostiles. But it is more then welcome to hook up with some of the veteran pvpers defend the place that you and they call home.
Last but not least, if you loose a ship do not throw a temper tantrum. Childish behavior is frowned upon, everyone looses ships and in combat or not its gonna happen sooner or later. its part of the game.
3. Must be able to use and talk in teamspeak - We dont expect everyone to be in teamspeak 24/7 of there online time, though a lot of us do use it as a main source of chat. When combat comes around, we do expect folks to be in teamspeak as thats where the combat orders will be given.
Teamspeak during combat is pretty straight forward. The only folks talkin should be the person leading the fleet, and any other folks whos job involves relaying data. *IE scouts etc*
You do not need to announce ""OMFG a battleship just warped in!** everyone is quite capable of seeing this on there screens as well.
There is however an general channel for folks to chatter till there hearts are content. This is were you will find folks unless there in an op channel.
Op channels are subject to the rules of the person leading the op.
4, Must be able to operate out of low sec - its where we live, and function out of. We strive hard to maintain safty for the members, and are currently located in an area that is secure and safe for newer members. We do plan on moving on from this area at some point to lay claim to our own section of lowsec and enforcing some safty for our members and other corps who will wish to live in our home.
5. Allegiance to corperation and its members above all else.
6. Must be a main, no alts.
7. Must not be on a trial account.
8. Ability to keep your word - ya tell someone ya gonna or not gonna do something, ya better keep your word
9. No smack - At least keep it out of local.

What you gain from joining us:
1. Access to some low sec space with friends who are there to help maintain your safety.
2. Learn from veteran pvpers how to defend yourself and the corporation
3. Learn how to set up ships to there full potential
4. An structured organization that encourages team play, not cliques.
5. Be part of an organization with goals, and the will to achieve them.
6. Be part of an organization that takes care of there own.
In closing we are not a carebear corp. So if your looking for some flower sniffing, hand holding love corp we are not for you. We have big ambitions and goals wich will require combat, and at sometimes a lot of it. If your looking for a corp where you can be part of something, nows your chance.
We are still in the preliminary state of our goals, and there is much work to be done. Things don't happen overnight but to those who have the patents and persiverence to achieve it, will be well rewarded in the end. It is an opportune time to get your foot in the door and your rank established.
We know eve is an game, and folks cannot be on all the time, but we are looking for active players. Active doesn't mean on every day for 100 hours.
We hope this gives you an idea of who we are and what were about. We look forward to hearing from folks.

You forgot to mention we have a hell of a good time. ^_^ You make us sound all serious.
We are a close, active, and comical group of players full of odd characters you may feel like shooting. But when you get that urge, just point yer guns at Savesti. ^_^

Fun, active members, support with all activities in eve, and lots of pretty explosions. What more could anyone ask for in a corp?

I've been with this group since the beginning (through Space Rats, Broad Horizons, and now White-Noise) and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. It's been hella fun playing with these guys.

Don't listen to them, Tearulie. The slightly austere tone of your post was appealing. Too many recruiters generically list among the benefits of joining their corp the fact that their members have a sense of humor. Big deal. Might as well mention that their system contains veldspar. Anyway, I'm going to try to spend some time in your public chanel this weekend.

We are a really tight knit bunch. Hopefully those who join will also become as tightly knit. We strive for everyone to get to know each other and avoid the cliques that seem to form in all games.

I had been watching White-Noise and a few of their friend corporations for a while, ever since I met with one exemplary member. The whole lot of them are mature but fun-loving, with some definite direction and goals; I don't think I could have joined a better corporation.
If you're tired of the mentally deficient and the BS, and aren't afraid of expectations, White-Noise is what you're looking for. We can use every person right now, and each member makes a difference.

Most of the corp are in US timezones at the moment, although we're looking to recruit more Euro players and others soon.
A lot of days there's at least someone on around the clock. Peak activity seems to be 10pm-6am server time. I'm in the EU zone, and I still don't have too many problems - though you can see I'm up pretty late tonight
Quite a few members have irregular schedules too, hence there being at least one other person on a lot of the time.

thanks for all the kind words.
we have gotten an number of applicants so far, and are lookin to fill a few more spots.
once all those spots fill, recruiting will stop while we take time to help the folks we have recruited adapt and learn to fight as a team.
For now, recruitment remains open.

It's always nice to be complimented, thank you. I've sent an eve mail in response and as for anyone else wanting to be in a corp where even the lil guy can stand out and make a huge difference. we are recruiting serious players that are capable of thinking outside the box and being a team player.

Currently have recruitment on a hold.
we have left our alliance of exuro-mortus and are participating in a little bit of "personal eve time" at the moment. we are in the middle of restructuring out future plans and will keep you posted on when our doors will re-open.
