The Babylon Project has one Occult Data Interface available for auction. This interface is needed for invention of (amongst many other cap related mods):
All tech II Laser turrets
Cap recharger II
Capacitor Power Relay II
tech II Nosferatu and Neutraliser modules
Built and ready for invention (one interface can start many invention runs as you may well know).
Starting bid: 2B isk
minimum increment: 100M isk
Buyout: 3B isk
No sniper rule.
No reserve.
Auction ends Sunday Februari 4, 2007 22:00 EvE Time
Bids can be made in this thread or through eve-mail to Keitaro Baka (I will then post an anonymous bid in thread unless a higher bid is already in thread).
The winner will be contacted and an Item Exchange contract will be put up in an agreed upon high security system.

Updated list of possibilities, thnx again D.
To answer some questions from ingame: 2B is the reserve here, don't bother with lower bids, and I have not yet received an acceptable trade offer, although we prefer isk, deals are of course a possibility. And yes you need the Amarr Encryption skill to do invention!

I'll give you a Billion for it due to the current drop in prices for the BPCs/Components. If not, at least you get front page space again.

Thanx for the offer Ishiko-san, I'm afraid we'll sooner take the interface trades we have been offered than the 1B isk offer. And yes thank you for the bump 
As for the price drop, yes the bpc drop a lot more and I think with more runs now, the components only drop more in the exploration sites not in the empire cosmos regions sadly. Considering the profit estimations we're already seeing on the other one (although the ratio of succesful inventions is still low in my eyes) I think 2B isk for an once in a lifetime buy is still reasonable.

Thank you for the brief consideration. I have found a seller for a built one at 1B ISK.
Also, as I have been running COSMOS sites, I have been finding hacking cans with components to build interfaces with.

Not a penny more. Invention rate has been stealth nerfed, you know this as much as i do.
Drop rate has been increased, and frankly if you wanted 3bill you should have sold it 3 weeks ago like everyone else did.
1.2 is the highest ill go given the additional cost required to make this anywere profitable.

Well Tempest, thank you for the offer, but I'm afraid it's below what we want to sell it for. Yep invention like I said is lower than I hoped it would be, but it's still ok. If anything it will be a great investment, you know as much as I do this is probably the best interface out there.
