maybe pre and post ASCN, bob death high end minerial cache dumping + D2 vs Bob minerials dumping to raise funds for war.

Im hooping bob vs D2 is goin to arise asap... cuz the mineral prices are dropping daily :( at this moment i believe they worth the lowest ever in eve history :(

New regions with drone alloys -> huge increase in zyd/mega supply.
Which leaves a higher price for low-ends and a lower price for high-ends.
Personally, i love cheap zyd

Tier III ships released right on Holiday time around the world.....
Im unsure about the war but this has happened in the past also. More recently last year with Megacyte all bought up and resold at a higher price for a couple of weeks.
It's suprising really, Tritanium, Pyerite and Mexallon are still relatively high all in all... Go into any 0.9-1.0 belt and you will still find no corp, bad named, 0 sec status, no bio, 9 month characters with no standings in a Covetor mining from the arse end of DT to the next DT..... Strip mining these belts must put atleast half of the said minerals on the market.
Thing is the race of people that do this dont really care what they get for thier product and labour anyways, I would say with in another few months you will see a shift back to the old prices again.

Hate to break it to ya but the you can mine the mega faster in larger amounts then what the drones drop it. Although you can get lots of zydrine and I think that can be part of the price drop as well as you said large scale wars happening and large alliances dumping the minerals for cash.

As you can see anywhere in the marked megacyte has dropped a lot, zydrine crashed and morphite totally crashed. Drone alloys give "huge" amounts of zydrine and morphite. Also roids with megacyte populate some of 0.0 and they must respawn. So canŠt be farmed 23/7. With drones people can farm 23/7 close to an outpost or a POS.

Nows the time to BUY BUY BUY!!!
Think long term, I purchased something like 1.25mil worth of Nocx from some place that was selling it for 300 even about 6 months ago.
Made a FORTUNE 2 months ago when it was selling for 595.
You don't have to sell some items, I just wish I had purchased Pyerite way back for 3.0, would be an incredible profit now considering in domain it's buy price is 10 and 11.

There is nothing wrong with mineral prices. They will always fluctuate and will find equilibrium in the market.

Exploration. You can find belts with lots of high end rock if you're willing to go to low sec. I know some guys who have cleaned out at least 3 40+ rock Gen belts this week.

I think the largest influx from cheap high end minerals comes from all the freeloaders in ASCN/AXE that mined for months on end and when **** hit the fan they panicked, ran and sold all their precious zyd to rockbottom prices to 'finance the war efforts'. Sure the new drone regions and various other factors are responsible for the current mineral prices as well, but the millions (if not billions) units of zyd that have been dropped on the market by ex-ASCN/AXE members have a far greater impact.
