It has been a while since I saw the old BSG. My roommate had never seen it. Since it's available on iTunes, I ordered it and started downloading.
Somehow, I don't remember it being teh suck.
Bad acting, horrible science even by skiffy TV standards, and an annoying kid and his dog that need to be escorted to the nearest airlock.
Blessed be Eick and Moore, for finding the diamond in the rough.

Argh, Boxey and that mechanical daggit... for some reason I'm reminded of those Bigtrak ads, which in the UK had the annoying kid shouting 'Well done Bigtrak!!!" Gah, what hateful memories.
Best thing about old BSG: The Cylons, Baltar, Lucifer, Lorne Green, and the fact that whenever they went to the locker room, there were always women pilots in their scants, but hardly any seemed to make it to their Vipers. Go figure
