Errr...I think the RL cash equivalent was a bit more than that. Skill injectors go for about 661-662 million in Jita right now (but there only about 44 or so available) so the RL cash value is probably over $6,000.

It's my opinion that if some dweeb wants to spend his life savings to have the highest SP character, then good for him.
There are people here that want the most ships. Or the most forum posts. Or the most KMs whored. Or any number of things almost no one else cares about.

Also, Someone ended up doing the math, it would cost Around 25K USD and roughly 2 Trillion Isk to get over 500Million skill points. CCP Is also always adding in new skills. If someone DOES make the limit.. It wont be the limit for very long.

Like I said to buy the extractors and do it himself. That was based on the packages of 10 injectors directly from CCP which is the best deal for them. Yes the cost if youd buy the isk and then just buy injectors on market would be much higher. The figure I posted would be the cheapest option if he had the available SPs on his own accounts and characters to cannibalism them.

We all had max skills one long forgotten Armageddon day in the past on singularity. 16th October 2007 was the last I think, but CCP has never shown any sign of repeating it sadly.

Would be great if they'd repeat that one day (maybe 16th Oct 2017 for a 10yr anniversary or something ?)

This whole ISK injector thing will create a brief surge of wannabe pay2win types, who will then hit the very real vertical learning curve of EVE, get fed up and leave.
So we all should stop worrying about it, sell off our unwanted SP and enjoy the ride.

They did this again very recently, I want to say in the past month or two. It was awesome, I got to try out all the Titans, and then realized i have no idea how to Titan. |
