Are you sure those look like very fancy textures to be an "early" version. Prehaps its the new one for the graphics upgrade? --------------

They had titan models 3 years ago. They were roughly the same quality, perhaps slightly worse than the current ones. You could actually get in one by modding your texture files to swap one ship's textures with a titan, so some people used that to take some screenshots. CCP was not nearly as strict about the EULA back then, so they didn't make a big deal.

i still wish that they had put in the original minmatar Titan the Leviathan then the sucky one there is now. the Leviathan just looked damn scary.

I agree, the old leviathan looked A LOT better than the Ragnarok.
Mostly due to the fact that the Ragnarok, for some unexplainable reason, is all bendy. If it would have been straight, it would rock.

It looks like the devs took the most ridiculous aspects of every Minmatar ship design prior to it - obvious weak points, solar sails, random giant spotlights, and broken radio tower-esque exstrusions stand out particularly - and mashed them together into one horrific mishmash of structural chaos. This ship does evoke a great deal of terror, though; I'd be terrified of flying it, for sure.
It looks a bit like Minmatar engineers elected to make it completely porous, as an alternative to armor plating, in the hope that enemy fire would simply pass through it, inflicting no damage. On the plus side, it doesn't resemble a goofy boat like the Ragnarok does.
