Hi all. And in advance, thanks for your answeres.
I want a fast crow. I know I cant sustain a fleeting disruptor with a gistii MWD with an Eutectic Cap recharger. The key is to scramble when your target will hit the warp button, not that hard.
But for now, I dont know how to fit the lows for pure speed. At the moment, I fit : 2x local hull overdrives and 1x local inertia stab
Can it be better while fiting other mods than overdrives ? nano, other istab ? -------- Necroth |

Na, your basically right with the low slot fittings. You could use a speed rig to boost it up a bit though. Also, like the nano BS's the faster crows result to snake implants and things along those lines. So, you wont see that ultimate crow speed until you have the snakes.
But without implants all you can do is throw the nanos and inertials in the low, throw on a speed rig, and train your speed boosting Navigation skills.
Edit: misread your post, switch the overdrives for local nanofibers

Thank you. Yeah, my initial question is to know if my top speed is better with local overdrives or local nanos. I'll try nanos ;) and look at those freaky price for mwd rigs :P -------- Necroth |

Off the top of my head, not sure which are better, but play around in Quickfit - it'll tell you before you spend your iskies.

Edited by: Marquis Dean on 01/02/2007 14:00:53 I've been putting 3 x iStab Is (cause they're cheap) on my Crow and it goes 4700m/s with my nav skills. Will it go faster with a combo of overdrives and iStabs?
edit: though it is so light it warps without turning around. ------ ------

Train all your cap skills to V including propulsion jamming and the MWD cap reduction skill and you'll be able to scramble pretty much indefinitely. (might run out after about 8-10 minutes.)
Alternatively a small injector with cap 100's works well but you need 2 pdu II's thus reducing your speed.
I doubt a micro injector would work as its cycle time is too horrible (greater than heavy nos).
