While trying missions for the first time in a few years, I got two missions I had not seen before: Anomic Base and one other also named Anomic; one with a frigate-sized restriction, the other with a "medium" sized restriction. The LP bonus was triple the normal reward and the agent allowed me to decline the mission with no penalty because it was "difficult". I just had a BS and did not want to go get smaller ships, so I declined them both.
For future reference, exactly how hard are these mission? i have max skills. Assuming I go in there with a Ishkur fully fitted with T2 modules is it going to be straightforward, or is it going to be putting me into hull and having me do multiple warp outs?
Also, can I use a Tengu or other T3 on the Anomic cruiser-sized mission? If not, what are the ship classes that qualify?

They're challenging but not impossible. There are a few Burner-based threads in this forum that detail the various fits and tactics quite extensively. You can't utilize any T3 or Command ships, however.
I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

- Worth Doing.
- Read the guides.
- Practice on SISI first or you will waste a lot of ISK

Don't think about it. Just do it. You can always warp out if it is too tough. |

still doin this at first!!!
normally you got no chance to warp out, cause you will be scrambled except team burners. read the guides and be carefull. one mistake in fit or flying can be a big loss. the recommended fits with its cost are not postet as a joke. |

And against which burner? Gurista - you will never catch him (3,6km/s mwd, kites at 38k). Sansha - you will never catch him (3km/s ab, kites at 15k, webs). Blood - you will be neuted in 20s (neut range 10k). Serpentis - you will never catch him (kites at 11k with daredevil web). Angel - you wont be able to track him (orbits at 600m with 10 or so sig radius, he is faster than you, so no "keep at range").
the essential is in the last part. guy was trying in a cheap incursus fit, thats only against burners except teamburnerts and base burners. burners are cheated by design from ccp by design. so get aware to get some unique fits,. |

with burners it is very important to read the manual, and this is the manual. there are some good alternate fits, however with the size of the thread most of them have gotten pretty buried.
a t2 ishkur might be able to do the serpentis burner, if I remember right that is the first one I beat on sisi when they were first testing the missions. Faction webs make it easier as it orbits ~11km so just out of sub faction web range. although webs don't use too much heat so it should be possible.
warpouts, don't count on it, although the npcs might go after your drones and scramble them giving you a chance at a warp out.
for burner bases you can use a t1 bc, t1/t2 crusier, any dessy or frig. faction and t2 cruisers seem to be the preferred ships.

I have heard people talk about earning a lot of isk from them... I am not so sure about that myself as I have lost plenty of ships with various fits.
From Jori's post it would seem that Amarr ships don't work very well for them, so I generally don't do them as that is what I am specilized in.
Also most ships only work for one specific burner, in which you need multiple ships for the different burner missions.
Also you cannot escape, so once you are engaged you fight until you either win or lose your ship.
So again, I personally don't do them.
Fozzie even went so far (and very insulting in my opinion) to say they are doable in meta 4 - t2 equipment alone. |

They are indeed doable in T2 only. Pimping is nice for extra kill speed but not really required at all.

So far, I have not had that much luck with that T2 equipment... Actually I haven't had any luck doing a single one after spending several hundreds of millions. |

The only Burner missions I've been able to beat in T2 fits are the Team Burners with a T2/Meta Garmur setup. For the Anomic Burners you need a minimum of a Deadspace hardener and armor rep, and some require Faction webs because you can't web the targets even when overheated. Now if we're talking off-grid links with T2 fits, that's another story.

Well you can also do the Ashimuu in a T2 Gila it just takes a long time to kill.

Depends how well you can multi-task with 3 accounts.
1x Faction frigate 2x Frigate logistics
You can run all burner missions. |

An RLML T2/meta 4 fit Onyx is an even easier proposition on that mission than the Gila
