Maybe sound funny but please read to end and comment.
Idea is new small ship. For example Shuttle T2 or some kind travel Frigate. Shuttle I think be better to this role. Statistic is normal, around 6 AU or more or give low slot to warp speed items (better kills), you decide. But important add one role bonus.:reduce Jump fatigue to 90% (or more).
Why? For Comfort, now many people use industrial in role JumpBridge-Taxi to reduce fatigue. Please Give us someting to normal travel.
PS. if you need some idea to how look this ship i can try do some kind concepts. :P |

I'd be ok with giving shuttles 90% reduction in jump fatigue.
EDIT: If you want to fly around in a shuttle for 1 hour and have your previously-accumulated jump fatigue removed, they probably won't go for that. |

I like both ideas the one with the t2 version of a shuttle and the idea of the 90% reduction to all shuttles. |

Just use a Leopard, it is nearly impossible to catch due to it's complete insane align time alongside it's 20 AU/s speed.
If you need something which is 98% impossible to catch, use a Interceptor or Covert Ops frig. |

Why is this needed? If you're going more than one or two jumps, a travel fit interceptor is actually faster than a jump bridge network with 90% jump fatigue.
EvE is hard. It's harder if you're stupid.
I couldn't have said it better.
Hello, Mr Carebear. Would you like some cheese with that whine?

I am trying to get people into the idea of adding new small (frigate-size) industrials. I am picturing something with much less cargohold than a swift industrial (like the Sigil) but much more than an Interceptor. These would be small and fast moving, cheap and pretty flimsy but their maneuverability would be their defense.
Maybe this would be something along the lines of what you're asking for?
Here is an example:
Amarr Light Industrial
1 high slot 2 mid slots 5 low slots 3 small rig slots
125 Tf CPU 20 MW Powergrid 640m3 cargohold 950,000kg mass
200 m/s max velocity 55m signature radius 6.6s base align time 7.5 AU/s warp velocity
Amarr Light Industrial bonuses per skill level: 5% bonus to ship agility 5% bonus to cargohold size
Role Bonus: 90% reduction in jump fatigue
Maximum cargohold size (with t2 expanders and T1 rigs): 4099.53 M3 Max skill Microwarp velocity (with T1 MWD): 1543 m/s
FT Diomedes: "Reaver, sometimes I wonder what you are thinking when you sit down to post."
Frostys Virpio: "We have to give it to him that he does put more effort than the vast majority in his idea but damn does it sometime come out of nowhere."

why would we add a ship for this when ccp have stated that the 90%reduction on industrial ships is only temporary

Prowler flown by one of my alts: Aligns in 2.98s 2,272m/s with the mwd on0 5,250m3 cargo hole using a single cargo rig The other rig slot is a warp speed rig, making is warp at 8.63 AU/s Has the jump fatigue reduction And it cloaks
I've burned out of hostile camps in both HED-GP and EC-P8R with that ship.
Yeah, you could train into a hauling frig faster, but in order to get the best out of it, you might as well be flying a t1 probing ship fit for hauling. The cheaper hull and smaller hold of the t1 probing ship will make it so you lose less isk when it explodes.
Edit: A blockade runner is, at most, a couple months training from having none of the needed skills at all.

Iain Cariaba wrote:Why would anyone ever use that when you can fly a blockade runner? Well let's compare. I'll compare Prorator instead of Prowler because I featured an Amarr ship. Light Industrial // Prorator Blockade Runner Base cargohold: 640 // 3045 Base align time: 6.6s // 7.7s Base warp speed: 7.5 // 6.3 Can fit covops cloak: no // yes
Skill cost: light industrial 1 // industrial 5 Market cost: ~150,000 // ~110,000,000
I'd use it. Maybe I don't need all that cargohold, and maybe I'm not hauling enough value to justify risking such a valuable ship. I can fly a transport but only Gallente and no more than a year ago I couldn't fly any of them.
Why would someone fly this over a blockade runner? That's sort of like asking why anyone would fly an EWAR frigate over a force recon.
Iain Cariaba wrote:Edit: A blockade runner is, at most, a couple months training from having none of the needed skills at all. It's a lot of training to devote into hauling when maybe you just want to buy a ship and make a quick haul.
