I have three +1 implants now and I want to use jump clones in order to protect them. Also I think using jump clones to instantly respond to a threat deep in 0.0 when I am taking care of business in Empire would be nice.
I am getting conflicting information about where I can install jump clones. I read the Knowledge base on this site and it says I can install a jump clone in an NPC station as long as my personal OR my corps standing with the NPC corp is +8.0.
But some people are telling me that I cannot install a jump clone in low or high sec space. Only 0.0. Is this true?
I was led to believe from the Knowledge base that I can install a jump clone in a Caldari Navy NPC station in Empire space as long as I have +8.0 standing with CalNav. Is this correct?
Also the article never says if when I am jumped to my clone that does not have my implants... are my skills training as if I do not have the implants plugged in? Or are my attributes still being affected as if the implants are plugged in?
Thanks in advance. ============================== Milonia Combat Pilot of the ACV Acadia (Moa) I'm new so be nice!

You may install jump clones at NPC stations with whom you have 8.0+ standing anywhere, from 0.0 to 1.0 space. [EDIT: Oh, and the station would need to have medical/cloning facility of course]
Your skill training time will only be affected by the implants in the clone you're currently using. So even if you have a jump clone who has implants somewhere in distant space, you won't benefit from those implants.

protecting +1 implants with jumpclones is a bit of overkill... if i were you i will just treat them as no-implant clones, that way you can get more freedom when using them.

And you only need to be able to install at one station. You install at station A, travel to station B, jump to your jump clone at station A.
This uses up the clone you installed at station A (where you can now install another one) and leaves your old body at station B.
This is important because you can always jump back to your old body at station B, its just a jump clone now. This is how you get clones installed at stations without medical facilities or standing.

Well I realize my +1 implants aren't much to veteran players. I'm new to they are to me. Thanks much.
And thank you all for the answers. ============================== Milonia Combat Pilot of the ACV Acadia (Moa) I'm new so be nice!

You also have to stop skill training to jump clone so your skill training will be affected by the implants in the clone you are actually in.
