A corpmate found this guy selling Hulks for 310M ISK. Here's our convo and his contract...

The contract system is complicated. I've never used the Freeform and I wanted to believe this guy - but was also very suspicious cuz the deal was too good. While I was talking with him I played with the contract menu. I made two freeform contracts - I could see no way to link it to any items. This guy was good. I bet he's very rich.
Be careful out there.

LINK the image, don't post it directly. Also, I believe posting chat logs is against the forum rules.
But back on topic... You should have told him that you would set up the freeform contract.
Or you could agree to meet at the same station, and just do a trade.

You can link any item in game chat (or this case the freeform contract)
just type the items name(u can do this with corporation or
charaters aswell and not just) then select the text right
click on it, there u will get a menu go to autolink and
where another menu pops up items/charater/corporation/solar
system/station, select the items in our case u just typed
and magicly u got your item linked.

Well if it gets nerfed, it gets nerfed. The chat log is the essense of it and the picture - well i clicked the little picture icon and it said where is it and i told it.

Scammers are sort of like virus writers...
They both deserve to have their own craft turned against them (I know you all wished that there was a special virus scanner which took any virus found on your computer, and sent it back to the writer...)

Hi Ans,
Keep on your toes with those scammers. I only buy off the markets, you'll pay a little more but you know you wont get scammed.
Nice to see DPSC is still going strong and sensible in its actions. Thanks for sharing. Blocked persons expanded.
