Hi...
This is a message to the admins/developers and anyone who cares.
I used to have 20m+ skill point character (o.o and north and south) I sold it.. about 6 months ago to real life friends. So lets disregard that.
About two weeks ago, I decided to check out the new features of EVE after this great upgrade that happened(Revelations).
So... I signed up again.. on a free trial to check it out.
I did 3 missions.. and they started to repeat... again.. so I really have only have one question? ' How do you gues expect to have any customers???? When all your missions repeat? Please feel free to flame and all that, cuz I welcome it.. its funny.. to see a human being care soo much about game. Cuz really if I have to blow up that same habitat again I will go nutz. I guess this game survives on hope.
Could you atleast spend some of your copious time to have more then 6 missions available for a new character.
Oh and the FAH who tell me I shoud train for better connections skills.. just as what I said. Go to hell.
This is my big request from this message.
Someone write some interesting missions!!!
And if you can tell me how you got a new mission everytime time.. send me an evemail cuz this would be gold.

How about a mission where you have to fly cloaked into a base and steal some misc BPC and return it to an agent. if you are detected you fail. (havent seen anything like that)
or one where you are like in a space duel tourney... have like 5 opponents (5 missions) and you have to defeat all of them in order for a great reward at the end like an implant or faction ship

Yah.. or something intesting...
Please do not tell me that I am the only one who feels this way?
I could come up with some interesting missions. As long as the hooks into the main app are there.
There is something definatly working in the way things work now!

Here's an idea:
A simple mission editor. Specify mission types, location of ships (type, number) etc. Submit to a dev/bug hunter tasked to checking them out. This could be done on SiSi or something. Once missions past QA they could go live...
I agree that missions get dull. I've run possibly 50 ever and I find them boring as crap. The cash and rewards make it worth the grind. It's still less boring than mining!

Sure... but do we have to suffer through the same **it?
Its sad that for 2 years the initial missios could not be expanded.
I would like to love this game.. but really.. it sucks ass... It was everything I wanted since TradeWars2002 and Frontier Elite ' But then it becamse petty
And boring...
Makes me sad...

EVE has never had a focus on PVE. For the majority of the game it's a background to and unpleasant grind to be able to afford PVP. - This sig is not made to instill anger and it is not at all insulting, by your definition of trolling this is not it

Actually the missions have been "rewritten" to a new system so they show abit of diversity.
Ok instead of 5 5k frigates, 2 25k cruisers and a building you have to blow up you can run into more or less frigates and cruisers and the mission stays the same. But when you progress to more standings with your agent and their corp you get randomly offered new missions (storyline and higher tier missions) which are much nicer.
Also there are now missions with special action triggers like one where you have to attack a station to trigger some rat to undock from it which i really like aswell as i see new missions i never seen before from time to time.
With these new triggers ccp can write new and more varying missions which will be alot more interesting to do. Remember they do not want any unbalanceing stuff in missions (officers that are farmeble, buildings when killed that always give +4 implants etc) so this means new missions have to be trougly tested which takes some time.
Granted it would be very nice to have a varity of more then 500+ missions so you may see the same one once in a day tops but missions is not the only thing that is put into the game so it will take time.

How about, if you don't enjoy mission-running, you try some of the myriad other things you can do in EVE? This isn't a single player mission-running game, after all.
Try mining? Try shooting other players? Try manufacturing? Try alliance politics? Try trading? Try exploring? Try salvaging? See where I'm getting at?

Eve is not designed to be played solo vs the environment. Sure you can do it, but its not the game's strength. You should rather consider it a sandbox where you can accomplish tons of things together with other people in a persistent universe.
I dont recommend Eve to anybody who just want to collect isk by doing missions, but there are some people who like to play Eve that way. I think its mostly a case of time. You need to put in quite a lot of time to play Eve the way its "meant to be played", ie as a 0.0 corp/alliance member, fighting for territory vs other corps/alliances.
Eve certainly isnt for everybody, and most people who are used to playing WoW solo and like to grind mobs to "get somewhere" will probably not think Eve missions are up to par with what WoW offers. Eve is for playing with and against players, not the environment. The environment is just there so you can easily make some money.

in NPC terms even the exploratin sites generally require a team of people to make use of them CCP did a good thing here - they tend to be PVE co operative element
The PVP comesfrom finding them before anything else and making use of em as well as the market PVP afterwards so they are a niche addition
