I've been trying to do some reseach on a T2 BPO in a mobile labb. But it just keeps complaining I don't have the required material (reports and RdB's). I've tryed to put the material in the labmodule it self, didn't work. I've tryed puting it in corp hangar at the POS and at a standard station in same system, still no luck. So where am I supposed to put the material for the lab to be able to use it?

I know my spelling is quite horrible, and my grammar is probobly far form perfect as well. How ever I do belive that every "intelligible" player out there with atleast a basic understanding of the english language can understand what I'm trying to say... If they bother actualy trying ofcours.

Thank you for that very clear and precise answer. I've tryed that though and it didn't work... Oh well, I'll try it again when I get home from work today.
Thanks!

well only thing i can think of is that you try to run very highe ME runs
try to start with research to ME 1 , some jobs are demanding on DB and the lab hangar is really small

And why should they? You want to be read, its no right to get answers. And since you didn't even bother to make it easy and nice to read you can't complain about answers like Evil Oreos... ;)
The stuff goes into the mobile lab you are going to use for that job - not the corp hangar or any other mobile lab. Its far from being perfect and i hope ccp will smooth that design in the future... well, like freighters docking at POS and such things. But right now, you have to go the long way to get it done.

material in the mobile lab in the same division as the blueprint is at the station.
I.E. if you use Division 1 of the station for your BPO, you put the consumables in Division 1 of the lab module.
And if you've got multiple labs, make sure you select the same lab as the material is in. That can take some fiddling if you've got a bunch, as in my experience the order of the lab list on the industry tab changes randomly.

Edited by: Quutar on 02/02/2007 18:24:14 To research Tech 2 (or other ones that need materials) BPOs in a POS lab..
Assumptions Character has skills required (many need specialty skills) There is a station/outpost in the same system as POS with a corp office
Step 1... Place BPO into the root of one of the corp hangers (can not be in a can) at the station/outpost.
Step 2... Bring the required materials to the mobile lab, and place them into one of the hanger divisions IN THE LAB (first time I did it, I put it in the corp hanger array). The specific division does not matter (and does NOT have to match where the BPO is)
Step 3... go back to the station and right click on the BPO, pick material research (or you can use the remote interface... but I hates the remote interface). On the lab location, be sure to pick the lab that you put the materials in (blah -_-). For the third option, it will give a hanger drop down... this hanger drop down is where it will draw the materials needed. Make this match the hanger in step 2. Please note that this does NOT have to be the same hanger division that the BPO is stored in...
pick the amount of ME cycles...
Step 4... Send Quutar the tech 2 bpo and tell him that he is good looking... um... never mind...
click ok, and accept the quote
