I personally feel that the myridon is one of the better looking ships in the game, I enjoy how it handles, the many slots, and its diversity... but there is just one thing that haunts me every day I look at my ship and it has led me to plead one question even though I doubt it has much importance to the game... PLEASE for the love of god remove the bird head extending from the myridon!
I dont know if anyone agrees with me, this is just a personal feeling of taste that i had I had to speak out against just once... and I hope im not being too critical.

on the other hand, why doesn't ccp use its time fixing things that actually matter?

Great Idea... I'm glad I never said anything like, "homg change this now!" I dislike people who crave attention and to feel important... dont you?

I agree with the OPs sentiment. My opinion is that the number of ships that look cool are far outnumbered by those that run the spectrum from tolerable (barely) to vomitous.
It is true that the gameplay is more important, but I want to feel cool as i pilot my ship as well. I dont think that is too much to ask for. All this asymmetry for no reason drives me nuts. Wierd protrusions which serve no apparent purpose also bother me.
Ship models that i find cool (no reservations) rifter Armageddon Punisher Breacher (Please boost this ship )

I like the Myrmidon as-is though. It, and the Drake, are going to look awesome in the graphics update.

The drake is a awesome ship, I almost switched from gallante for it... until I saw the hyperion, I have a glimmer of a dream of getting that ship someday, until then im happy with what I got. It really does make a difference on looks that decides what people get, i hear a lot of dislike about the dominix just on its looks, there is something more than abilities on the minds of buyers...

The Breecher?...lol It looks like a box with a tv antenna sticking out of the side.
I think that pretty much all the Amarr ships are cool looking except the ones that look like suitcases with wings. : Mauler, Augoror ect.

"I do like the 'bird head' on the Myrmidon. It goes nicely with the overall birdiness of the ship. It has wings that are folded forward which holds it's highslots and it's all based on a boomerang-shaped. Although a lot of organic shapes in it, it has a nice edgy/pointy feel to it at the same time to keep it's organic design in check. A lot of it's design has some kinda of 'fly' or 'freedom' theme to it.. Well, you have to discard it's battle cruiser agility of course; It is a interstellar brick-wall to fly after all!
Now, the evil-pointy bearded whale; Mr. Brutix is another story. Being a battle cruiser it does have..."

Enjoy, and fly safe..

It could have been based on some strange mutant bird like most caldari ships.
