In my last post the idea came up of calling concord to gank areas with alts, well so far I have 3 people up for this and me.
That's 12 concord ship to a gank area each time we attack a bump ship with the 4 of us, if I understand concord deployment right
It would be nice to do this within a Corp rather than use the cover of an npc Corp
Yes target ship would have kill rights, if not hiding in a npc Corp then why hide from kr, adds to the fun
So I want a name for this Corp please post any ideas, had one or two already
Aims, to start with, to suicide bump Ships, if we fail AG will have concord on the field when a gank fleet arrives, as we go to - 10 we learn to gank bumpers as code do.
Not trying to take anything away from the AG groups, just trying a new tool in our fight,
Think about it, group grows to 20 Ships, we could kill every bump ship they bring out.
Outside support would be needed for warp in's, a supply of ships and general high sec support would be ideal
Ozzie will not be ganking, I'm making an alt, I like the other AG work this character takes part in.
Any floors in this idea or ways I've not thought of please post

Not sure it's about being good, I just don't like what griefers and suicide gankers do, I do like pvp so these people seem good targets and if any of you feel the same join me, this is eve you never know what will happen

The subtlety is in the choices - the bumbers make an active choice to put themselves in that position, and with relative impunity - the freighters make a passive one (that said I do not have much sympathy for freighters carrying billions of cargo unescorted thru Uedama!)

If you do manage to land close enough to even lock and fire on an actively piloted Mach, and you pull concord to the site...
you die and the Mach continues to move the target away from your concord spawn.
If you cannot kill the Mach, your actions will be futile.
At least you are actively playing the game, Kudos there.

Almost right, plan is to get timing spot on, you can tell when somethings about to happen, gate guns out of range, the bumper changes his bumping style to make sure he keeps target, non criminal code lackeys turn up. Other things change too, you get a feeling for it.
So this is the point we attack with scrams, webs and any guns, just before their long range grid loading spot just before gank.
It would give the freighter one last chance to warp or would put gank off all together or others could join in on the bumper gank if they feel inclined |

I'd like to add, other pilot skills with in eve don't always have a lot of use in ag, just as low sec gate camping has nothing to do with cap fleet battles but they all need some skill and understanding, even ganking needs high levels of skill and planning from their FC
That's the fun thing with eve, hundreds of min games in one place, it's not just pvp game and as players we have to work out how to play these min games, or you can sit there and ship spin which is fun too |
