I do not know the best way. For me, joining a PvP focused player corp that was active in my time zone was a good way. |

I'm a big fan of the various public PvP fleets that various groups in the game run.
Often called "Not Purple, Shoot It" fleets, in that they're an alliance of convenience for just as long as the fleet holds together, these fleets don't require that you join a corporation or alliance to participate, they'll usually take any player if they have space (including and particularly new players who are excited about PvP), and they're a great way to get familiar with the terminology and gameplay associated in participating in fleet operations.
There are a few potential downsides: NPSI fleets often go into Providence, so if you have a special concern about staying off the residents' "kill on sight" list, you may want to make sure that's not the plan. Also, you might sometimes be called upon to shoot your alliance or corpmates on such a run, so make sure you're behaving consistently with your organization's rules, if any. Also, NPSI fleets are not usually as rigorous about running strict, careful doctrines, so there are aspects of fleet play that you may not be exposed to like you would in the right corp or alliance.
All that said, it's a neat experience and if you're not already affiliated with a PvP-oriented group in the game, it can be a fun way to meet similarly-interested people.
This is an old link on Reddit listing a number of NPSI organizations. Some of these may no longer exist or be running regularly, but I know several still are, so check them out.

If you spend enough RL money and buy many skills injectors you "may", "eventually", "one day" kill someone.

TheDamned wrote:My suggestion would be to get into a Warfare Faction and focus on the skills needed to fly a Faction Frigate like everyone else does. Then start with Novice outposts.
I've tried several regular frigates and every time, I get someone gate in in a faction frig that does 2,500 dmg to me in 3 seconds.
I have been actively looking for targets in my Manticore, FWF frig, you name it and I have yet to get a single kill. lol It's pretty funny at this point and has made me broke.
I'm off to go exploring to make some more ISK so I can start over.
As you seem to be experiencing, if you don't know what you're doing, bringing out a more expensive ship is just going to result in more expensive lossmails.
Stick with T1 frigates for learning.

Yeah...Reddit links...how....loyal.

How is it more difficult now?
He made a trial and slow-trained his way to killing veterans in a matter of days.

I strongly recommend doing one highsec gank first.
PVP is extremely nerve wracking until you have your first kill, and ganking will get you past that hurdle.
I support the New Order and CODE. alliance. www.minerbumping.com
