Hello, I'm new to EvE so be easy with me on this one :P I'm thinking of getting a Drake, I made a search on forums but all I get is setups for mission runners. Could any of you share your Drake PvP setups ? ( Prefered full names of equipment, no abreviations ) Cheers !

Nice passive setup: High: 7 heavy missile launchers (try Malkuth, ease of fitting and not to heavy on the wallet) 1 something (tractor beam for missions, nos to shut down interceptors for pvp)
Med: 3 Best Large shield extenders you can get your hands on 2 invulnerability fields either 1 em hardener or a warp disruptor for solo
Low: 2 Shield Power Relay 1 Ballistic Control System Last slot: Power Diagnostic System if you have grid issues, Ballistic Control for more damage, another Power Relay for more tank

You kill any type of good tank possible trying to tank a drake. These things are meant to shield tank, a solo PVP setup would require a Microwarp Drive, Scrambler, an Webber. Which would take up 3 of the valuable mid slots, if you want to PVP with a BC use something else, like a Hurricane that you can armor tank.

7x Heavy II (Scourge Furies) ABII, 20k, 2x Invul II, 2x LSE II I Stab, 3x BCS II 3x Core Defence Field Extenders 5x Hobgoblin II.
20k shields, 350 DPS. Excellent solo ship for taking on other BCs and small cruiser gangs. Teh pwn. If you're in a gang with dedicated tacklers swap out the scram and AB for some EWAR. ------------ Crow Squad... An Audio and Visual Joygasm by Larkonis Trassler |

That looks exactly like my PvE setup. What about EW, counter-EW, Sensor boosters?

Yes, using rigs on the Drake to free up some mid slots makes a WORLD of difference :)

Pretty straightforward to do. And, it all depends of what you want to do with it. The problem is that Each and Every slot is used to augment the tank on this setup. You can start removing modules to add EW and all that, but each and every module used is going to make your tank that much the worse. That said, you can remove ANY of the modules to add Sensor Dampeners or a Sensor booster (I would actually prefer a signal amplifier on this one to keep the HP buffer), afterburners, whatever. I just posted a base...

Really like this setup but I'm wondering what level of skills you need to operate it properly?

Mostly Passive setup: (Mix and match how your wallet allows)
This is also a non-solo fit (Read Gank) (You need a tackler to scramble and hold the target)
High: 7 heavy missile launchers (T2 with T2 Missiles otherwise Limos are nice) 1 Drone Link Augmentor....Make the drones go farther =)
Med: 1 Large shield extenders II 1 Invulnerability Fields II 1 EM Hardener 2 Sensor Damps 1 Omni-Directional Targeter (Drone Tracking Bonus) is VERY useful...
Low: 1 Shield Power Relay 2 Ballistic Control System II 1 Power Diagnostic II
Drones: 5 T2 Hobgoblins (or pick your poison)
Drakes really aren't great for solo PVP since, as has been said above, you have to sacrifice Mid slots for the scram, Web, etc to hold the target so you are much weaker then a comparable Armor Tanking BC in a fight. Drake really is a 2 or more gang PVP Gank boat.... Now a Myrmi.... there is solo pvp gankage, and my solo PVP boat of choice till they nerf it due to the Whiner Brigade.
