Ok, lvl1s were to easy, i moved to lvl 2 and can do any lvl 2 solo with my kestrel now. So if i upgrade my eq to faction mods will i be able to do lvl 3 in my kestrel ? I hope yes, becaus i don't like to fly another ship  Anyone tried this `?

DonŠt think so. An assault frigate might do the job but not a tech1 frigate.

doubt it very much, could more than likely be able to do em in a caracal while you train for assault frigs etc.

I'd reckon some drone missions are doable and if you shield tank then some easier angel missions...
But generally no!

In some guristas missions you will get hit by a lot of light and heavy missile and that might messup your tank alot. You might be able to do them with a Gisti shield booster but I doubt it. :( And it's a very expencive experiment. I don
t know if this setup even fits but it might make it. :)
High: 3-4 standard Missile launchers II
Mid: Gistii A-Type Shield booster / Faction Boost amp / 2x DG Kinetik hardener
Low: 2x PDU II's.
That might have a chance but it's insanly expencive.
If you find a setup that works could you eve-mail it to me?? :)

Level 3 "The Score" might be doable in a Kestrel. I don't think I even hit armour in it so if you can kill the frigates fast enough it could perhaps work with some warp outs.

Could be fun, but I wouldn't want to risk faction mods, and I wouldn't touch some of the missions where you warp into the middle of heavy damage.
Try a Caracal, it's like a big Kestrel and there's just one level 3 that toasted mine *sniff*: "The Uprising", nasty, nasty pirate mission series.

if it wasnt for the sheer missle spam of lvl 3s id say yes. sadly Guristas missions own even AFs pretty hard due to the sheer volume of light missle spam.

Some missins may be doable if you have uber skills. I did a lvl4 once back in RMR with a punisher frig, mind you that was back when some lvl4's gave you that mission where you need to kill 3 cruiser rats, insted of the usual BS marathon.
But I think it will not be time efective for most lvl3's in a kestrel.

The trick here is to use long range and stay outside(light) missile range. If they manage to missile spam you (even with heavies), you have a problem.
I've been doing a few level 3 missions in a Hound *)before it went "poof" because of warping in at the wrong range **). I figure it could be possible to do the same missions in a Kestrel being a lot more careful about range.
But beware of getting into their range and always stay aligned.
*) Yes I know it's abuse, but I like a silly challenges. Did an Infiltrated Outpost in a Huginn, too. One of the Strains came close enough to web me, haha!
**) Got rather upset about that, and it was far from my bases with no viable cruiser on any nearby market, but then I found some nice 250mms T2 and nuked the bastards in a Thrasher RAWR!

i can do L3's in a passive rifter (T1 frig.. but T2 fitted). not sure if a kestrel can do it though (never tried, i doubt it due to the amount of slots and what not)

Even if it is possible it would be slow as hell. Why not get a BS, make the missions alot faster, earn isk and go pirate in your kestrel

I would suggest, go for a BS,
put like almost the same fitting on it as you would put on a caracal, and you'll be safe...
it's not the bonusses what makes it easy, it's the very large shield and armor that gives you more time to take all the damage
or, as earlier recommended, take an assault frigate...
allthough in my experience, the af is a little fragile towards cruisers...
I did level 3 missions in a Thorax, the gallente cruiser and find it very exciting since the tank can't actually handle all the damage when taking or getting full aggro...
On the other hand, with a bs... it is rather boring...
