Well I thought I'd try my hand at one of these Battle reports since I can spell correctly (prerequisite 1), I was actually there (prerequisite 2) and I have a better memory than (most) goldfish
We've moved onto target area number 2; Querious and surrounding regions, and so far we're loving it. Up until last night our operations in the area had been relatively small-scale with our gangs running through in groups of 5-10 regularly enough to get a feel for the place. I have to say, the loot is good and the locals are vigilant; two essentials for fun PvP. Last night we decided to kick it up a notch (BAM!) and throw a Battleship gang in FIX's direction to see how they'd react.
We entered the A2 pipe with a gang of 16 Battleships fitted for close range and moved in the direction of 9CG. Our scout entered the system a minute before the main group and reported only a handful of people in local; no gangs and no targets. Examination of map stats showed that 3-F would be the most likely place to find a fight within 20 jumps so we started moving east in that direction. We were spotted early on past 9CG (always encouraging to get a wave from local ratters) and so we had high hopes of finding a defense gang waiting for us upon arrival.
We were not disappointed; there was a large FIX gang spread all over the 3-F entrance gate with heavy Fighter support (a total of 5 carriers were in the area lending their fighters according to our killboard). Well the sensible course of action was to jump in, so obviously that's what we did.
The engagement was spread over 3 waves, each of which lasted about 5 minutes. The initial engagement was probably the biggest. FIX had most of their ships on the gate itself at close range (nice!) and a handful of snipers at 100km+. We immediately regrouped and moved towards the gate while attacking the biggest threats within firing range. 9 FIX ships, including a T2 Maelstrom and Faction-fitted Raven, were destroyed in the first 2-3 minutes. It was typical of close-range engagements; blue explosions blanking out the overview every few seconds, targets warping in and out, drones filling the screen as far as the eye can see! Once the stuff nearest to us was down, we sent a few Battleships out into the middle of the system and warped them back in on top of two snipers who had chosen a silly position to attack from; 100km from the gate in the direction of a planet.
We took a few minutes to grab the loot while under light fire from the remaining snipers. Knowing the second wave would be coming any minute now, we took the time to pop every fighter within firing range. The second wave arrived around 02.16; 5 minutes or so after the end of the first. They arrived at staggered ranges at slightly different times, with a Megathron being the first to arrive at close range a minute or so before the rest (poor guy, so eager!). This wave was a little heavier on EW; lots of dampeners slowing down our target cycling
Once we were halfway through this wave, the third arrived on the scene. At this point we'd destroyed pretty much everything within 30km of the gate and with the amount of EW on us, we couldn't get a lock on anything past that . We decided it was about time to leave with our loot. Warping out from the gate to a random planet, we waited for a moment to see if any eager FIXians would use their initiative and follow without coordinating with their FC. A Myrmidon pilot was the unfortunate over-zealous victim of this tactic; his Tech II fittings were squeezed into our already bulging cargo-holds with difficulty.
Surveying the field; we had several exit options available to us, including several unguarded gates. We took our leave through one of these and regrouped a few jumps out before heading home.
And so ended the battle of 3-FKCZ

The FIX Killboard only shows 4 Battleship losses, please eve-mail me the missing mail.
You didn't mention the Large Remote Armor Reps that boosted your tanks (a nice tactic), nor the 2 battleships and 1 battlecruiser that warped out in structure. The close range a fit melted our tacklers/support, we had a dictor warping to that gate right as you boys hit planet 1 .
Overall, a nice fight, there is no need for smack in this thread. ------------------------

Definitely shouldn't take that as smack man, FLA were fantastic fun; they fought us nearly every time we entered their space. Excellent foes -----

What I meant is that you put up a fight like FLA, i didn't compare you pvp abilities to those of FLA. Because you know there's alliances that just dock and flood local with smacktalk

Should add fighter drones to the cost of the fight as well. They are pretty pricey.

What we generally find is that if we have a cov ops in their house watchin their gatecamps... and the order to move is given on TS... they bolt in all directions like rabbits... or if we mention a sneak attack, their gatecamp instantly moves from one gate to another... they still run but they at least move their bubbles...
They are good fun and to begin with fought us very hard. I think we simply pushed them too hard without warning and their individual wallets drained... good to see they've respawned ready and able for the war in the north... if BoB has a go...

They will resort to spying/blatant TS spying, using npc corp alts and such.. trying to get you concorded... and then still talk smack when their FCs arent around to see it... overall they are a good alliance but spying and such really dampens the fun, they do however drop a lot of t2 loot... tis a nice place to holliday.

I just have to respond, this is so inncaurate it hurts, its also not needed in this thread. you really cant take the high ground on this one, you have many TS spies, many IRON pilots smack in local so dont even start that.
