Hi.
I am the owner of a POS, and bought my materials in Jita, and sold my products in Jita.
Since the re-routing with the last patch, the markets in Jita are heavily affected, and I cannot buy anymore in Jita or in acceptable distance, and I cannot sell anymore in jita or acceptable distance.
It looks like the re-routing of CCP destroys my POS operations. I am very frustrated, disappointed and consider stopping to play EVE. Greetings, thanks for reading,

Several solutions to your problem:
- Go to another market hub to buy/sell your products
- Relocate your POS
- Find people to resell your products, with lower profits but less time-consuming hauling
- Start your own Jita

It's a harsh world out there, adapt or die

Edited by: Kua Burrow on 04/02/2007 11:58:24 Sorry to be unsympathetic but I can't believe your quitting the game because a game change means something you did before won't work anymore. IMO it's an exciting time for you, you need to adapt your approach, look for new methods. In doing so you will no doubt find something even more interesting and even more profitable. I'll be honest I'm not clued up on POSes and I certainly don't know the details of your situation. That said I still think what I say is valid, I can't believe for a second that CCP's change has destroyed your potential for success or enjoyment of the game. Your just letting it do that by not thinking outside of the box.

I run STUFF. We primarily sell in Jita.
Our sales have dropped by a minimal, if anything non-statistically-significant amount.
I don't believe the routing has affected things much at all.

Yes, but he runs a POS, DS. As such, you're chump change compared to him! And as in all things, I take anecdotal evidence of the end of the world ('s markets) far more seriously than a hundred-billion-isk t2 titan's actual statistics.
Honestly, I think this is just a troll. If not, let us know what sort of POS you're running (and why and where, if they relate to the situation), and in what way, exactly, the Jita market has morphed for your products.

Well, the situation is that I can't get anymore the complete list of ingredients in jita anymore which I need to produce. And I also cannot sell my product anymore in jita, because the price is way BELOW the own costs.
For many ingredients, i have now to make so many jumps that the time it consumes is making it to a joke.
If only CCP could install some NPC traders in Jita which still sell a number of materials there, then it would be acceptable. But Jita is now a desert for me.
I bought a POS to finance playing Eve (Products to ISK to GTCs). Greetings, thanks for reading,

By saying this that means the market is to healthy there atm. If the market didnt have compitition due to lots of people being there, then prices would be high. I am guessing what ever you are looking for somone else bought out recently. -----------------------------------------------

try contacting some of the larger corps who do mass reaction/moon mining for a steady supply of stuff u need
that the price is low is due to what proton said, competition, u could try and make contracts with ppl who bought ur stuff in the past or shift to a different region

I do light module & component trading into Jita, and the rerouting has not hurt the market one bit. The market in this game is very dynamic, and I imagine some people moved into your little niche. Adapt.

Ok let me say this in the nicest way possible..
"OMG your ruining my game.. you've destroyed my life.. now I cant go on because you took away my trade route.. rabble rabble rabble"
Basically there are nice "cheaper" hubs in eve, might not be in caldari space, but you can park up on the fringes of it and be like a few jumps away from Jita and Amarr.
Adapt or die, its the eve way --------------------------------

Try buying in Rens. Jita is a good place for high end mins but the prices are horrible for most low end mats.

Think of it like one of the old towns in the U.S. west that was made obselete by a new highway being built... These things happen, the new route is for the betterment of the galaxy... ie. you can't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs...

Hire Player traders to get them for you.

Don't do it yourself. get a player trader to do it for you.

NPC traders? What about player traders?
Theres 1,000's of player traders out there. Most of them know prices across the galaxy. Selling and buying only in Jita, you have been cutting your profit margins. Hiring a trader that knows the prices and where to buy in the long run will save you money and make you millions. If your shifting large quanities, think of the tax you've paid. Player traders have reduced rates, the money they will save you just in transactions could be worth while.
You make money the trader makes money.. its win win.

What re-routing? You could always go from urlen to jita in two jumps using either kisigo or perimeter. I don't see much of a change because kisigo is a 2 gate system. Get on the trader's lounge channel or Web Forum and see if you can arrange a delivery. Heck, you might even get free delivery or at least a group will bring it all to a central system.
But if you decide to leave, I will accept item contracts that request one isk for your entire inventory.
