The average lifetime of a mirror was somewhere around 2 months, with mirrors as short as a couple of weeks, up to more than five months. This one that's up now is from early November 2006 if I remember right, so less than three months old.
An up-to-date mirror is never essential to the goings of the test server, is also (according to the responsables) a pretty nasty thing to accomplish (several days to prepare mirror data for use), so it's only done when absolutely necessary... usually before a major upgrade.
The only information you'll get is "when it's done" or a simple SOON™. And most likely, you'll find out about it only AFTER it hits the test server. _ MySkills | Module/Rig stacknerfing explained |

Test server, Sisi, is updated at no certain intervals, so it's impossible to say when the next test server mirror will be.

Its not hard to say...someone has to plan it and that someone should be informing us on a mirror by mirror basis...So lets say for instance I'm building a mother ship or a titain and I get everything in the works and then just as I start it a mirror comes out no warning no nothing...Then I gotta start all over again and the thing with skills too...training them and if the mirror isn't recent then I have to go and train them all over again...It should be once you train something on the test server thats it, its done, no matter what mirror they put up. I mean I love the test server I get on it as much as I can to test new ships and such and I do not use it for pvp purposes primarily.

There is no set schedule for when mirrors are made. However they do take some time to do which is why they're only done when needed and not on some kind of planned timescale.

Originally by: Mephysto To make a mirror to sisi takes around 2 hours of downtime to copy the tq db, followed by a day or more of work internally to prepare the db for use. It is not feasable to do this regularly.
