Tech 2 market woes

Donte Amarr Freespace Technologies	Posted - 2007.02.04 22:46:00 - [1] I enjoy fitting my ships with what my skills allow me too. That being said, my training in the pulse and beam laser spec skills are going to be my undoing. from the item database on this site and the going rate for minerals (assuming i buy them) for most every tech 2 weapon variant there is over a 1000% percent cost markup. On the rare things, like covert ops cloaks, 5-6000% cost increase. this is completely insane, legal, but insane currently there is absolutely NO WAY to combat these markups. none... what so ever. supply and demand drive the prices to insane values. I feel that CCP needs to seed a large amount of t2 bpo's to make the market stabilize to rational levels. im not talking about 30-40 more bpo's, im talking about hundreds of bpos for each type currently in existence. Spending 250m isk to fit a harbringer is bad enough. I wince at the thought of fitting bs's and recons, and i feel bad for those that have too.

There is a way to combat markups. It's simple, effective and any player can do it. Don't buy overpriced goods. To buy or not is a choice. When you pay for an overpriced item you contribute to the problem.

The problem right now is that because sometimse improveds come out instead, and they sell so cheaply, it is difficult to make a profit on them so it is risky to try for covops. It IS doable. One of your two rotating signatures exceeds the maximum allowed filesize of 24000 bytes - Devil ([email protected])

Well no offense Donte, but you try to come of as if its a "fact" that T2 equipment is to expensive, when in "fact" that is just your opinion and a minority opinion at that. T2 equipment should be extremly expensive in the game, in fact most players should not be able to fit out a fully load "T2 based" ship for economic reason even if they have the skills.
