Hey guys,
Just wondering how you people do that and with what program (Premiere I guess). I'm talking about the flyby scenes that I see in those video's from Outbreak and BoB for example.
I do not have enough material yet, but I want to make a pretty good movie when the time comes.
So please tell me how you do those scenes please?

One thing you can try (or at least what it looks like to me):
Jettison a can. Right Click > Look At the can. Orbit said can and zoom the camera until it's just inside your orbit range (just watch your ship's path, it doesn't vary unless you give it a command). Then, right click and rotate camera around so can is invisible. Start recording.

Or you can just press Esc > general options > adavanced camera options > right click the can, set as parent, click your ship, set as interest.
There was a sticky detailing this, hold on a sec.

In the clips I think he's talking about, the camera doesn't actually follow the ship. The ship just flies by. Although if the camera is tracking the ship, see above post. |

You're right and I've tried the adv options now, but what I'm wondering about also is how do they get so close and not seeing the ship that you are viewing from? Is it because it depends on what ship you're using that needs to pass by?
