To be fair Fybs, you have to admire his stamina. He must be knackered, riding around on that menstrual cycle day and night. I sold mine and bought a monobrow and a two-handed footpump. Best thing I ever did. Saved me a fortune in iron tablets alone.

It would seem pandemic legion is a favorite. I've only killed them so I'm not sure of their quality. Marmite and vendetta are hub huggers from my information so they are out of the equation.

I've just been looking at some of the top merc groups I know about on zkillboard and it makes interesting reading. Marmite have been displaced from the top spot by a long margin now, if you go by performance so far in 2016. They are still somewhat of a force, but to a lesser extant than they were in previous years.
There are many flawed ways of measuring performance based on zkillboard stats.
Total ISK Destroyed so far in 2016
1st - Vendetta Mercenary Group - 1.75 Trillion
2nd - Complaints Department - 1.27 Trillion
3rd - P I R A T - 957 Billion
4th - Archetype. - 439 Billion
5th - The Marmite Collective - 373 Billion
Total Points Killed so far in 2016
1st - Complaints Department - 126,376 points
2nd - P I R A T - 125,647 points
3rd - Vendetta Mercenary Group - 123,936 points
4th - Archetype. - 114,413 points
5th - The Marmite Collective - 87,881 points
Total Kills so far in 2016
1st - P I R A T - 10,725
2nd - Complaints Department - 7,945
3rd - The Marmite Collective - 6,000
4th - Vendetta Mercenary Group - 5,911
5th - Archetype. - 4,321
Overall I'd say Complaints Department, P I R A T, and Vendatta all seem to be doing significantly better than Marmite, with Archetype performing perhaps slightly better than Marmite despite having less than half the member count.

That all depends on how you look at it and what the client's wishes are. Marmites banned the trade hubs (6 months+ ago or so), where most of the others get their kills. We actually hunt our targets down (even in frigates). Want max damage, yes, then you have a point. Just like we use to do the last 5 years, but after a few years it became boring as hell.
Wont do any name calling (Complaints Department), but some are whoring on another merc alliance's kills 24/7 too.
